Eevee hopped down to give everybody a full view of her. I went into battle mode immediately. "All right, Eevee." I looked around for a target, and saw a giant pillar holding a part of the second floor up. "See that pillar there?" She nodded and got into her stance. "Quick Attack!"
In a split second the bottom of the pillar shattered in half, and Eevee was regaining her stance beneath it. Everyone stared wide-eyed at what just happened, and I heard a few gasps and sounds of surprise. I heard a giant yell from Natsu. "That was awesome!"
"Oh, you ain't seen nothing yet." I chuckled in humor, and focused on my partner again. "Now, Double-Edge!" This time, four pillars in a row broke and pieces went flying everywhere. The second floor also crashed to the ground, and Eevee dodged it just in time. My stance changed to guilt and I flinched as everything fell. "Oops."
"That was impressive." I turned my head to see Erza stepping up to me with her eyes closed in maturity. "But I don't think the master would approve of this mess very well."
Uh oh. They had a master? "What?! Why didn't you tell me that you had a master? I'll get in serious trouble!" I grabbed my head in worry, and Eevee sprinted up to me also with a worried look.
But Natsu was laughing his head off in awe of what happened. "That was even more awesome!"
"That was amazing!" Lucy yelled.
Did they even hear Erza? "Are you guys blind or something? I just ruined half of your guild hall!"
"And you'll pay for that!" I flinched in fear as an older voice yelled across the room. "Do you have any idea how much that's going to cost us?!" I spun around in fear to find a small man glaring at me in anger. He looked to be about three feet tall, and had white hair growing out of the sides of his head along with a mustache. He looked to be about in his seventies at the least.
"Aw come on, Gramps!" Natsu countered. "Did you even see what that little thing did?"
"Does it matter?!" He screamed, making me flinch again. Eevee touched my leg in fear. "It did more damage than you ever do in a week!"
"But master!" A small girl with long blue hair also tried to defend me. "You don't even know how powerful that just was! I want to know so much more about her!"
That made me let out my breath in surprise. Everyone else yelled in agreement, and a small white cat with a pink dress on walked up. "It's true that this creature has powerful magic," she stated. "What I want to know is if that was its most powerful." The kitty looked up at me in seriousness.
I relaxed again. "No, actually. She's got one more move that I want to show you."
"Oh! Was it that same power that you showed me in town?" Mira asked in realization.
I nodded. Everyone listened in wonder what this was going towards. I glanced over to who I knew was the master, and guiltily smiled. "I'll show you, but it won't be in the guild hall anymore." I turned my body to face him even more. "Is there somewhere we can go where I can destroy things without getting in trouble?"
He loosened his face a bit, and closed his eyes with a heavy sigh. "There is a forest right outside of town. If you're little friend is as strong as everyone says they are, then you should be able to take down at least one of the Forest Vulcan that live there."
All of a sudden, me and Eevee were lifted into the air by Natsu's arms, his left one around my waist as he carried me like a football. "Hurry, let's go! I have to see if you're someone I want to fight!"
"Natsu! Put her down!" I heard Lucy's voice as she chased after us. I looked behind me, and the whole guild was following close behind her. I smiled in relief. Everyone was so eager to see what Eevee could do. If they accepted me enough and it impressed him enough, maybe the master would even let me off the hook about the scaffolding!
