Dialga glared down at everyone while swishing his blue and silver tail. Steel was strewn across his body and face, and unlike Palkia he stood on all fours. His face was elongated on his forehead, making the steel on the sides go into a point as sharp as a needle. My heart was beating like crazy at his monstrous form. Everyone else was just as in awe as me.

"It's him..." I heard Serena say.

I took a deep breath, and closes my eyes in confidence. I took a step forward. His red eyes focused on me, sending chills down my spine. "Dialga," I greeted. "Please lend us your power by sending us to the past. We beg of you."

He stared at me for a moment longer. A low rumbling sounded behind him, and he floated off to the side from the portal of time that was opened. I took a step forward, but stopped as I remembered Lucy and the others. I turned to face her. "Lucy." She widened her brown eyes in wonder, her arms still crossed. "I'm sorry. I know...that you're mad at me for not letting you come with us. If I could make any other choice, I would." I felt tears in my eyes. "I just...would never forgive myself if something happened to you."

She let out a breath in surprise. "Ellie..." She blinked, and rushed up to me to give me a hug. "I'm sorry too. I'm just...worried. If anything happened to you, I don't know what I would do, either."

"That goes for all of us." I heard Erza say. "We are counting on you to make things right in the past. Don't make it worse, okay?"

"Don't worry," Ash answered. "We'll be fine."

Natsu chuckled. "We should talk more, you know? Come back quickly and we can have a battle."

I perked up when I heard that. I'd like to see a fight between Natsu and Ash. He even called it a battle.

Ash was fired up too. "You bet! I can use that for training!"

They locked their hands into fists with each other. My eyes shimmered at their friendship. "We should go now, guys. Papa, I'm counting on you to find more Pokémon and bring them to safety. Lucy, you can be in charge of taking care of them. There are Pokéballs in the guild hall with Mira, so use them as you need to, okay?"

"You got it, Ellie. We'll take care of Bonnie too. You're going to bring Celebi back and make our past right again. We'll be waiting for you." I hugged her one more time, and me and the other trainers stepped up to the time portal.

I turned my head one more time, seeing my guild mates and feeling a pinch of sadness. Would we be able to do this? Or is this too much of a mission for us.

"Ellie?" Serena then asked, jolting my focus back. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just..." I took a breath. "Feeling the pressure is all." I could feel Dialga still staring at us, wanting us to move already.

"We're here for you," Clemont said. "There's no way we'll fail bringing Celebi back."

I grinned. "Thanks, Clemont. I'm hoping for it."

We then all stepped in sync into the portal. The brightness made us close our eyes, but it faded after a couple of seconds. We opened them, and our surroundings looked no different. "Are we here?" Serena asked.

"I think so," I answered. "But...it seems the same to me."

Ash walked out of the trees toward the road. "It even looks the same out here."

I followed him, and turned toward Magnolia. "Let's head back into town and see if anything there looks different." We started walking back, Eevee and Pikachu leading us as they chatted with each other. Everyone else was silent. There was a slight chill in the air. I stopped. "Something's not right..."
