(2 1/2 hours later)
Sparrow looked so peaceful. I was still freaking out so I looked at the bottles to see if there was any side effects. First, I picked up the pink salve.
'Could lead to slow heart beat, however it will regulate.'
Of course, there is always a death side affect! I slam the salve bottle down, and it cracks. I pick up the blue bottle of liquid.
'For cut wounds only. If any other medicine is used a side effect could increase.'
At this point I'm debating if I should murder the nurse. I bet she didn't even KNOW WHAT SHE WAS GIVING SPARROW! The rage boiled up inside me. I look over at Sparrow noticing that her face was paler and there was little to none blood flush in her cheeks. I sit next to her for hours waiting for her to wake, I refused to eat until she awoke. At 12:30 AM the next day she jolted up gasping for air.
"JAY!!!"
I hug her immediately. She is gasping and clutching at me like I could fade away at any second. For a moment I was happy she was in my arms then I was aware we were in a hospital.
"I am so sorry..." I whisper.
I let go. Then a nurse comes by. it was the one who gave her the salve.
"I see you have awaken, Ms. Collins."
"... How long was I asleep?"
I look over at her.
"A day and a few hours."
She stares with shock at me. Then looks to the nurse.
"What happened?"
"It appears that the amount of medicine required to heal your wound was to much for your body to take. The medicine made your body shut down temporarily."
I hear a grumble. I look towards Sparrow.
"I'm so Hungry!"
"Is she able to move freely now?" I asked.
"Of course."
I grab Sparrows hand and lead her through the doors.
"So where are we going? Does it have food?"
I chuckle.
"Yea, I think the place we are going has food."
We go down to corridors and a heavenly aroma wafts through the air. Me and Sparrow both stop and take a big whiff.
"That smells amazing..."
"Yea... Lets find out what that is!"
We go down the hallways following the scent. We end up at a pair of great mahogany doors. The door slowly creeks open. The smell pours out into the hallway.
"Oh my Lord that is amazing."
The doors reveal a large room with a bunch of tables, chandeliers that glowed a pale yellow light. The room was magnificent it had music and the wonderful aroma that Sparrow an I followed. Me and Sparrow sat at one of the many tables. A chef comes by and asks us what we wanted.
"We would like whatever that amazing smell is!" Sparrow said.
The chef bowed.
"As you wish, Princess."
Sparrow scowled. As the chef left I looked at Sparrow.
"What's with the angry look?"
I don't want to be set higher up than everyone else! I wanna be just like everyone else."
"Well it was your idea to come here..."
"To save the rebel forces! Yea!"
At that moment the chef returned with drinks and the object of the smell. The chef took off the dome covering the smell. Is that..
"Baked Spaghetti! My mother used to make this for me all the time!" Sparrow exclaimed.
I laughed as she began eating the food with eagerness and the sauce was all over her face.
