Chapter 4: Unfolded love

It's Saturday and that means all the ghetto people get drunk and have sex and ruin their lives while living by the saying "yolo". It's kind of gross but whatever Cameron is one of them so I can't judge too much. Emily and Amy invited me to sleepover at Emily's house so I'm just packing now. Oddly enough chad never left my mind. After all he's done maybe I do like him but I will never admit it. "Pat I'm off to Tasha's you need a lift?!" Cameron hollered up the stairs. "No I'll just walk!" I responded. I heard the door shut so I knew he had left. It was just about party time for all the ghetto to come out and get wasted so I took the long way through the forest to Emily's house. It was freezing out and quite fighting even for a neighbour hood I have been living in since I was 12 I still get a little creeped. I made it to the entrance of the forest and the smell of pot filled my nose more than anything I felt like I could get high just off of the air and thinking that I knew some druggies were really close by. I started to speed walk until I was half way through the forest and I saw fire. It was a bonfire with all the popular kids. They were passing a bong and I saw chad. I hid behind the bush and my heart beat speed up a little. Unfortunately chad saw me and left his group to see me. I looked at his eyes before anything. He was completely fried. His eyes were bloodshot beyond compare. I looked at him disapproving his appearance. He was high so he didn't really take notice and as stupid as he was he started to touch me. He grabbed my butt and I backed up into a tree. There was no escape here. "Hey sexy." Chad whispered in my ear pinning me to the tree. "Chad let me go." I struggled. He picked me up and walked right out of the forest. I was utterly confused. It started to pour rain and he held my face and smiled at me. "I know this would be so ironic if I kissed you in the rain because of our play but I just can't resist you ever since our first drama class I've kept my eyes on you. And now my eyes are finally in line with yours." Chad said softly. "Chad your high and you'll regret this all so I'll let you go back to your friends and I'll go dry off and keep walking okay bye." I said hugging him tightly and then attempting to let go. He gripped tightly around my wrists so I couldn't escape. "Uh chad...?" I questioned and tried to get away. "No I'm not losing you like this I'm not as high as you really think I am and I've been high ever since I met you and not on pot, on you. I smoked pot tonight because I missed you and I couldn't handle the pain of knowing you don't love me like I truly love you!" He shouted and not leaving me anytime to speak he picked me up and kissed me in the pouring rain. It was such a spontaneous but romantic kiss. Fireworks were going off in my mind everywhere. Butterfly's were taking flight in my tummy and everything felt just right. He put me down and started to cry. "I'm im so sorry patience I didn't mean to come at you like that!" He explained hugging me with tears. He was definitely high that's for sure. I looked at him speech less. I knew o had to go so I hugged him tightly grabbed his face and pulled him down and kissed him passionately and soon ran to Emily's. I looked back and I saw chad standing there like he had won the world. But truthfully he had won my heart. I finally got to Emily's and it didn't look like her mom was home mostly because there was a huge party going on. "BABY!!" Amy screamed and ran to hug me. She was wasted out of her mind. "I LOVE YOU KISS ME" she said trying to kiss me and I pathetically pushed her face away. I walked to Emily's room and walked in on Emily and her boyfriend roger getting busy...they didn't notice so I shut the door completely shocked. Then some of those nerds from school got wasted and started cat calling me and trying to touch me. Soon enough football players got involved. They picked me up and tossed me around the room. Some tried to touch me and I knew I needed chad. But I didn't need to call him because he was already there by the time things got too serious. "Get your filthy hands off my girl asshole!" Chad yelled. Grabbing me and carrying me out of the house. He brought me back outside and we were silent for a bit. "I need to get home then I guess..." I said. "I..." Chad said. "Huh?" I responded. "I love you." Chad said. I stood there in shock. So soon but so romantic. I jumped on him and hugged him and he kissed me. "Chad!" I said and he snapped towards me. "I'm afraid I don't have the key to my heart anymore, someone else has it." I said poking his chest. "Will you be my.." Chad said being interrupted by me saying "yes." And with that we kissed all the way home. He stayed with me till my brother got home. And I made sure he had a sober driver to get home. We waved goodbye and I walked back inside. I sat down on the couch and really thought about the whole night. "Where's the twinkys pattie!" Cameron said odiously sounding extremely tippies. "Top left corner." I replied. "Hey" Cameron said coming back inside the living room with a box of twinkys. " glad your home because you could've been out by 7 but Tasha stayed sober you lucked out." I said. "I know she's such a doll right? She's so cute she's just perfect." Cameron said. After an hour of talking to my wasted brother we both went to sleep. Sunday I had chad over all day and we watched movies and got to know each other. He was my world now...and that's what I was afraid of...
