Chapter Thirty Five

Brian went to Nick's house and opened the front door and closed it and went into the living room and saw Nick sitting on the couch, watching TV.

"Brian," Nick said.

"What is going on, Nick?" Brian asked.

"Nothing, just watching TV," Nick said.

"So you weren't kissing Tanya?" Brian asked. Nick looked at him.

"How did you know about that?" Nick asked.

"Kevin called me, Briz told him, she saw you two kissing," Brian said. The front door opened and closed. Brizee came in.

"Briz," Brian said.

"My husband and I need to talk," Brizee said.

"Call if you need anything," Brian said. He left. Brizee sat down.

"Briz," Nick said.

"Why Tanya, of all people, I would understand if it was a fan or a stranger, why one of my best friends," Brizee said.

"I don't know, she came onto me, I kept pushing her away and telling her that my life is with you and Lizzie," Nick said.

"I can forgive you, I did something bad, too," Brizee said.

"You slept with Kevin again," Nick said.

"No, just kissed, it was another mistake, nothing came out of it, no feelings, nothing," Brizee said. Nick pulled her close.

"We are even, baby," Nick said. Brizee kissed him deeply. Nick pulled her up and locked up the house and they went upstairs and checked Lizzie and then they went to their room and closed the door and laid on the bed and removed each other's clothes and made love.

The next day, Nick went to hang out with AJ and Howie. Brizee got Lizzie ready and went to the mall and walked into Bloomingdale's and saw Tanya and Alicia working. Vicki saw her and came over and hugged her.

"There is that beautiful little girl, she is so precious, she has blue eyes like her daddy," Vicki said. Brizee smiled.

"Yes, she does," Brizee said.

"Alicia told me you are expecting another child, congratulations," Vickisaid.

"Thanks, Vicki, Nick and I are blessed," Brizee said.

"Everything okay with you two?" Vicki said. Brizee looked at Tanya and back at Vicki.

"Couldn't be better," Brizee said smiling.

"That is good, when are you coming back?" Vicki asked.

"I am not sure if I will, I love being home with Lizzie, as much as I loved working here, there is nothing like being home with my child, spending every single moment with her is heaven," Brizee said kissing Lizzie's forehead.

Tanya went to the back room and sat down in her office and picked up the phone and dialed a number and waited for the person to pick up.

"Yeah, it's me, I can't do this anymore, I'm done, I don't care, okay, I'm going to come clean and there is nothing you can do to me anymore, goodbye," Tanya said. She hung up and went out and saw Brizee gone.

"Vicki, where's Brizee?" Tanya asked.

"She left, Nick called and said he was home so she went home," Vicki said.

"I need to talk to her, can I go?" Tanya asked.

"Your shift is almost over, go on," Vicki said. Tanya got her purse and went out the door and went to Nick and Brizee's house. She rang the doorbell. Nick opened the door and saw her.

"What do you want," Nick said.

"I need to talk to you and Brizee," Tanya said.

"Come in," Nick said. She came in.

"You might want to call Kevin and Kristin over, this affects them," Tanya said. Nick looked at her and called Kevin. Ten minutes later, Kevin and Kristin arrived with Jared. Brizee came downstairs and saw her and Kevin and Kristin.

"What's going on," Brizee said.

"Tanya needed to talk to us," Nick said sitting down. Brizee sat down next to Nick. Kristin and Kevin sat down.

"So talk," Nick said.

"Brizee, the baby you miscarried was not Kevin's baby, it was Nick's baby," Tanya said.

"What," Brizee said.

"I'm sorry, I found out and was going to tell you until someone stopped me," Tanya said.

"Who?" Kevin asked.

"Your mother, Kevin, she heard me talking about it and came up to me," Tanya said.

"What," Kevin said.

"Apparently, she wanted you and Brizee together so she blackmailed me into breaking up Nick and Brizee's marriage, I don't know why I went along with it, it was stupid, I should have told you the truth to begin with," Tanya said.

"She had you come onto me so she can get Brizee and Kevin together," Nick said.

"Yes," Tanya said.

"Oh my god, she hates me, she wants me out of Kevin's life," Kristin said.

"I called and told her that I was coming clean and that I was done, you guys are happy, I was done hurting you all," Tanya said.

"Oh god," Brizee said.

"Anyways, I ran into a guy I used to go to school with and we are sort of seeing each other and I think I'm falling for him, I want to completely focus on him," Tanya said. Kevin sat there.

"I can't believe my mother did this," Kevin said.

"I'm sorry, guys," Tanya said. She left. Brizee grabbed Nick's hand and held it. He brought it up to his lips and kissed her hand. Kevin got out his cell phone and dialed his mother's number.

"Hello," Ann said.

"Hi Mom, it's me," Kevin said.

"Hi honey, it's good that you called, I have something to tell you," Ann said.

"What is it, Mom," Kevin said.

"The baby Brizee lost wasn't yours, it was Nick's, you were upset over nothing, honey," Ann said. Kevin closed his eyes.

"And you blackmailed Tanya with that information, you told her that you would tell us if she didn't break up Nick and Brizee's marriage, how many times do I have to tell you that me and Brizee are just friends and that the only woman I want to be with is my wife and the mother of my child, Kristin!" Kevin said.

"Kevin," Ann said.

"Your plan didn't work, Mom, nothing you do will ever, ever break up my marriage to Kristin or Nick and Brizee's marriage, if you can't accept the way things are, you stay out of my life," Kevin said. He hung up. Kristin held his hand.

"I can't believe her, she was glad I called and told me that I was upset over nothing, that isn't true, it may have not been my baby but I was upset because losing a baby is a hard thing to get over," Kevin said.

"I was upset at first but then I got over it because I could have more children," Brizee said.

"I just hope that nothing bad happens to any of us," Kevin said.

"Yeah," Nick said holding Brizee close.
