The next day, Brizee laid on her bed and face the window. She thought about what she had done and would cry softly. She kept a hand on her stomach. She heard voices downstairs. She quietly went to the door and heard Kevin and Nick's voice.
"Get out!" Nick yelled.
"Nick, no, not until you listen, okay, whatever Brizee and me had is over, no more, for sure this time, she loves you, man, I wish I never acted on my feelings, you're my little bro, I should have never done anything to hurt you and I regret it, I love Kris with everything in me and I'm working on getting her and Jared back, you've told us over and over how much you love Briz, don't let anything tear you two apart, not me or anyone, show the world that nothing can tear you two apart, I would give anything to go back in time and change things," Kevin said. He went out the door. Nick stood there and thought about what Kevin said. Brizee went back and laid down on her bed. She heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Nick came in and sat down.
"Briz," Nick said.
"What did Kevin want," Brizee asked.
"You heard," Nick said.
"Hard not to, you both have loud voices," Brizee said.
"How much do you love me?" Nick asked.
"More than life itself," Brizee said.
"Kevin is right, I don't want anything to tear us apart," Nick said. Brizee sat up.
"Nick," Brizee said.
"I just need time to forget what happened, I love you more than anything in the world," Nick said. Brizee sat there. Nick looked out the window and looked back at her.
"I had enough time, let's have a fresh start, no more thinking of the past," Nick said.
"I don't deserve you, but I do not want to lose you, I never ever want to hurt you again," Brizee said. Nick kissed her forehead and rested his forehead against hers.
"From now on, it's just you, me and our kids, no more cheating," Nick said.
"No more, you are the only guy for me," Brizee said. Nick smiled and got up and checked Lizzie and went down and locked up the house and came back up and laid on the bed and they removed each other's clothes and made love. Afterwards, they laid there holding each other.
Later on, they sat out by the pool in a lounge chair. Nick sat against the back. Brizee rested against Nick with her head resting against his shoulder. His hands were resting on her stomach. They just laid there on the lounge chair staring out at the ocean. Nick rubbed her stomach.
"I like this," Brizee said.
"What," Nick said.
"Just sitting here staring out at the ocean, being in your arms, I don't want to move," Brizee said. They heard Lizzie cry. Brizee groaned and got up and went inside and came out a few minutes later with Lizzie in her arms and sat down and got back into the position she was in before. Nick helped Brizee hold Lizzie close and he kissed Brizee's forehead and then he kissed Lizzie's forehead.
"My girls," Nick said.
"I'm so lucky to have you and Lizzie," Brizee said.
"And I'm lucky to have you and Lizzie, and I hope our new baby is a boy,"Nick said.
"You feel out matched," Brizee said.
"Just want to even things up, that way we will have a boy and a girl," Nick said.
"So what if it's a girl?" Brizee asked.
"Then I will have two little princesses, and you are my queen," Nick said kissing her forehead.
"And you are my king," Brizee said. He kissed her softly. They sat there staring out at the ocean. Lizzie was asleep in Brizee's arms. They knew they would be together, forever always.
