Sophie's POV
"Sophie! Sophie!" I hear Biana's loud voice echo off the quiet library walls. I had finally discovered where the library is, I was getting sick of reading
"shh Biana this is a library" I whisper hiss at Biana
"oops. Sorry" she whispers really not sorry
"what did you want to tell me" I whisper placing my book down
"4 words. We. Are. Going. Shopping!" Biana shouts throwing the no talking shouting rule out the window
"Biana shhh!" I hiss "what do you mean we are going shopping there is no we in any of that"
"no way are you getting out of this Sophie Elizabeth Foster Ruewen. You are coming dress shopping" Biana declare for me
We were getting some serious death glares from the librarians but Biana chose to ignore them
"why do I need to go dress shopping. I already have enough dresses" I whine
"it's not any dress silly. We are going to find your Autumn Ballgown" Biana says like it is the most obvious thing on this earth
"why can't I just wear one of the dresses on my closet" I groan
"because none of them are good enough," Biana says. I shudder just thinking about the monster of a dress Biana is going to make me wear, but I knew I was not getting out of this one. When it came to shopping there was no arguing with Biana.
"fine" I grumble, begrudgingly placing the book back on the shelf
"good now come on before it gets dark," Biana says pulling me away from the library and down the cold corridors
After nearly an hour of walking my feet start aching
"Bi when will we get there" I whine
"oh, stop whining. We are nearly there" Biana chides me, as she picks up her pace
I mock her like a little kid. I was usually mature in life, but when it came to shopping, I just have hate towards it. Too long and tedious
Finally, after what felt like a million years, we arrive at a wooden door with a small sign saying 'open'
Biana opens the door, the sound of a bell jingle following shortly after. Inside was beautiful, and that was an understatement;
Mannequins were placed around the edges of the boutique showcasing the most gorgeous dresses I had ever seen; from halter necks to mermaid different shades shapes and colours of gowns were displayed on the mannequins.
I couldn't help but gawk in awe at the sight, this place had dresses for everyone! From glitter girls, to cotton lovers.
"oh, my god, Linh!" Biana squeals running over to a girl I hadn't even noticed
The girl was beautiful with pale rosy cheeks and long jet-black hair that was tinted silver at the tips. She had such a warm and soft smile that felt calming
"Biana I didn't expect to see you here!" the girl exclaims pulling back examining Biana
"We have a bit of an emergency," Biana says, "Linh, Sophie, Sophie Linh," Biana says introducing us
"Princess Sophie," Linh says bowing
"no need just Sophie" I request "nice to meet you Linh," I say extending my hand
Linh shakes it, a soft smile curling her lips
"so, what is this emergency" Linh asks
"Oh, my, god Linh you won't believe it! Sophie still hasn't gotten her Autumn Ball dress"
