I didn't hear their conversation, but I saw Lucius glaring at Draco as he spoke to him.

Draco's once lively eyes had faded and gloomed while talking to his father and I watched as his lips were locked in a straight line.

After Lucius left, I ran over to Draco and immediately threw my arms around him.

After a moment, he relaxed into the hug and took a deep breath.

We sat there silent for a few minutes until I finally pulled away and broke the silence saying, "You played great tonight."

He smiled and stroked my cheek and replied,

"For you."

My cheek warmed into his hand as I looked into his gray eyes that began to glisten again.

"You look stunning in my jersey by the way."

I smiled and gave him a quick kiss before pushing him towards the locker room.

"Go clean up and then meet me at our spot."

He smiled and went inside.

I quickly ran up to my dorm and threw off my clothes while I searched in my closet for a dress.

I pulled out a tight emerald dress that I knew I'd look good in.

I quickly retouched my makeup and headed for our spot.

Much to my surprise, Draco was already waiting for me there and when he saw what u was wearing, a smirk grew on his face.

"You look beautiful." he smiled at me, "I really won tonight."

I blushed and walked over to him when suddenly he bent over and picked a rose from a nearby bush.

He reached it out to me and smiled.

I slowly accepted the flower and tucked it in my hair as he readjusted his attire.

I looked down at the ground for a moment before finally looking up to meet his gaze. "Draco would you like to dance with me?"

His smile dropped as he looked down shyly mumbling "I don't dance."

"But-"

He looked back up and laughed, "There's not even any music playing."

I shook my head and tried to laugh off my embarrassment. "That doesn't matter and forget it, it was a silly idea anyway."

His eyes softened when I said that and he suddenly took my hand and pulled me close to him. He put his hand on my waist and I put mine on his shoulder as we slowly started to drift back and forth.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." he smiled and looked up at me, "You make me do crazy things."

I blushed and rested my head on his shoulder as we continued to slow dance under the dimly lit tree in the garden.
