30 - merry christmas

When I woke up, a smile immediately hit my face.

It was Christmas morning!

I felt the urge to jump on the bed and wake up Draco, but we stayed up late and I felt bad for keeping him out there in the cold when I knew he was tired.

I lifted his arm off of me and turned so I could face him.

I could wake up next to him everyday if I could.

But, that bad feeling wouldn't go away. Something was coming and I knew I should only worry about the present time, but it still worried me.

"Good morning," Draco whispered groggily as he rubbed his eyes.

I leaned forward to kiss him on the nose before smiling and whispering, "goodmorning."

Then, we were interrupted by our door being burst open and in came Jade, Ryder, and Blaise all cheering, "It's Christmas get the fuck up!"

Draco whined and through his pillow at Blaise, but he caught it and smacked Draco with it.

I couldn't control my laughter when Blaise scoffed, "Nice try!"

Jade grabbed my arm to pull me up, but Draco immediately grabbed my other arm.

"Cmon, Y/n. Get up!" Jade laughed as she kept pulling but Draco pulled back harder.

"Lockhart, I swear to god leave my girlfriend alone." He seethed and I couldn't help but giggle when he called me that label.

"Hold up, you guys are official?" Ryder asked which made Draco and I look at each other and smile.

"Yes, we are." We both said in unison.

Draco's POV✨

Y/n and I made our way down to the living room, not far behind everyone else, when the grand Christmas tree came into view.

The amount of presents were overwhelming and Y/n interlocked her hand with mine as we entered the room.

"Good, you're awake! I hope you guys like the presents, I wasn't sure of what to get a few of you, but I tried my best-" my mother started but I interrupted her by kissing her cheek.

"Mum, it'll be great, thank you."

Y/n smiled up at me and sat in my lap as we began to open the presents.

My mum got everyone something. She got me some new books (I secretly love to read), Blaise a new quidditch sweater, Ryder some new cooking books (the kid wants to be a fucking chef when he's older), Jade a new blanket, and she got Y/n a pair of gloves and hat with a matching fur coat.

I smiled seeing how happy Y/n was that my mother got her something and I mouthed another "thank you" to her before we opened the gifts from each other.

"Oh my god," Y/n gasped as she opened the jewelry box I had gifted her.

Inside, was a silver necklace with a diamond snake on it.
