15 - stargazing

Y/n POV✨

When I went to my first class, I was excited to see the trio again.

As soon as I sat down, they turned to talk to me and we caught up on everything.

Harry and Ginny were dating and Ron was surprisingly okay with it.

Hermione kept flirtatiously looking at Ron and I giggled to myself because of how obvious it was that she liked him.

In defense against the dark arts, Jade and Ryder were goofing off the entire time, and I would catch Draco staring at me every now and then.

In Herbology, Neville and I were partners and received an A!

Then, it was lunch time.

When I sat down at the lunch table, I smiled at Draco but he just looked down.

I frowned and just talked to Blaise and Jade the whole time.

"So where even were you yesterday?" Jade asked curiously.

"Oh, Draco and I were just out and about" I shrugged, smiling.

Blaise wrapped his arm around me and playfully messed up my hair. "Since when has Y/n Whitmoore started ditching classes?" He asked playfully as I started to laugh.

When lunch ended, I looked back over at Draco to see if he still wanted to walk with me and he nodded.

We were walking to Potions when he suddenly pulled me into an empty corridor and slammed me against the wall.

"What the hell are you doing?!" I yelled trying to escape from where he was holding me, but he just glared at me.

"Why was he touching you?" He asked seriously.

"What do you mean? Blaise?" I asked laughing hysterically. "It's called being friends, Draco. Don't be ridiculous."

His glare turned colder and he leaned down to whisper in my ear, "I don't want him to touch you again."

When he pulled away, I nodded silently and he released me from the wall.

I was starting to walk towards Potions when Draco stopped me again.

"We're not going to class." He said pulling my hand and leading me out the door that led to the garden.

When we sat down in our spot, I got comfortable and giggled, "We have to show up to class at some point."

He smiled and said "maybe, but not now."

I scooter closer to where he was sitting and leaned on his chest.

Then, my eyes started to slowly close.

Draco's POV✨

When I woke up, Y/n was still laying on me against the tree breathing softly.

It had gotten dark now and the stars were very bright.

How long had we been out here?

I looked down at her soft, brown hair and began to lightly brush it.

Her eyes fluttered awake and she looked confused as her gaze shifted towards the sky.

"It's dark already?" she laughed as she nuzzled her head into my chest.

"I guess we were quite comfortable." I laughed then sat up, lightly lifting her head off of me.

"Come on, I want to show you something."

She followed me further down the hill until we approached the Black Lake.

"Why are we here?" she asked as she sat down beside me.

"Stargazing."

We lied down on the grass and looked up at the sky.

The stars were everywhere and Y/n kept pointing out constellations.

"Oooo and there's Orion's Belt!" She smiled as she pointed to the sky.

I couldn't see it but I smiled and nodded anyway, trying to make her happy.

She smiled and cuddled closer to me.

If this were any other girl, I would've thrown her off of me immediately but she was different.

I liked making her happy.

It made me finally happy.

I was happy.

I smiled and ran my fingers through her hair as we both looked at the sky.

It was perfect.

"Draco?" she asked after a few minutes of peaceful silence.

I sat up so I could look at her.

"Yes?" I asked smiling at her.

"What are we?"

I swallowed and looked down.

I hated this.

I wish I could just be hers and she could be mine without the fucking bet in the way.

"What am I to you?" She asked being a little more specific.

"You're mine." I smiled at her and she smiled.

She sat up and pressed her lips to mine urgently.

Her hands roamed in my hair and mine grasping her hair pulling a bit.

The kiss was passionate and I layer her back down so I was on top of her on the grass. My hands explored her body as I started to kiss her neck.

"Draco, I don't want to.." she started and I immediately retracted.

I was not going to force her.

"I'm ready whenever you are. And I will wait. For you." I smiled as I kissed her forehead.

She smiled and relaxed again, leaning on my chest.

Then, we drifted off to sleep again.
