10 - hogsmeade

I woke up early and began to get ready for the day ahead of me.

I normally would have slept in, but my nerves got the best of me.

I curled my hair and put on a nice skirt and blouse that fit me very well.

"Whitmoore, why the hell are you up? We leave in two hours." Jade groaned as she threw her pillow at me.

"I got too excited! Cmon, get up!" I laughed as I threw the pillow back at her.

But she didn't respond.

She was asleep again.

How the heck does she fall asleep so fast?!

I quietly exited my dorm and tip-toed down the stairs to the slytherin common room, careful not to wake up any of the other Slytherins.

"Morning, Whitmoore." Draco smiled from one of the couches.

His morning voice was raspy and his platinum hair was messy and disheveled, but he was dressed for the day.

He sure is strange.

"Goodmorning," I smiled "And why are you up so early?"

"I could ask you the same thing," He laughed, "I just woke up early today I guess, I don't know."

It was silent for a moment as I sat down on the coach opposite from him and laid down across it.

"You're hair looks nice." Draco said, trying to break the silence.

I smiled and responded "Why thank you, Malfoy. Your hair looks nice today too." I said sarcastically as he shook his head.

"Well little miss judgy, let me go comb it for you." He said as he got up and headed back towards the boys dorms.

Once everyone was up and ready, we headed for Hogsmeade.

Our first stop was the Three Broomsticks, because Jade kept complaining about how she was "so hungry she could die."

When the waitress brought out our food, Jade immediately began eating.

"Woah there piggy." Ryder laughed but Jade punched him. "Ouch Lockhart."

"I'm no pig." She laughed as she threw a piece of her food at him and continued to eat.

I caught Draco staring at me a few times throughout lunch and I knew I was blushing.

He smiled, knowing the effect he had on me and I tried to focus on just eating my damn food.

After lunch, we went through the shops.

"Wait, wait, wait! Y/n needs Slytherin gear to wear to the quidditch game tomorrow. Let's go inside here!" Jade squealed pointing towards the clothing shop.

We walked inside and I stopped to look around. There was Hogwarts merchandise everywhere.

My eyes caught sight of the Slytherin section and I found myself smiling.
