dear You,

𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐘, I hit my head on a rock when I fell down that cliff... it was actually a steep hill; but a cliff sounds cooler. the doctor from the ski resort told me I got a concussion and should sleep it off until we go home later today. According to him, I was on the brink of death. Well, to be fair I was laying in snow for a few hours and it also began to storm during that time as well.

That was the first time i stared death right in the eye. It was an interesting experience. 10/10 would not do it again. i was so cold.

one would think that I would be on my way home right now; but the buses don't get here until two. either way, it's not like my dad or mom would drive up here for three hours. It's just a waste of time for all of us.

i know myself... at least I think I do. I'm not sure why I fell down in the first place. There must've been some sort of reason for that – I can't remember right now. I woke up about two hours ago and I can't recall anything that happened yesterday. the furthest I can remember up to is when we arrived to the ski lodge.

I saw Keiko-san and Harue-chan before I was sent back to my room. They were relieved that I was awake – They gave me a keychain... it's of a snowman playing volleyball. how absurd.

i just got déjà vu for a second.

they didn't look the happiest when they came into the infirmary this morning. they weren't able to stay for long since I needed to sleep... but did I? Nope. I'm sure I've had enough rest today.

Mei didn't come see me. I mean, I'm not mad about that; I didn't like her anyways. i have a feeling that something bad happened yesterday between her and someone else... better tell the girls to not hang around her anymore.

I forgot to mention; Nishinoya was the one who found me. adults really are useless – they didn't even look around properly and Nishinoya was the one who saw me in the dark – with no light either. I really owe him my life. after he found me, the rescue team brought us back to the lodge – I'm glad he didn't get hurt from this rescue mission. If he did get hurt because of me...

he didn't come to see me today... at least not yet. I hope I

"...Is that you, Nishinoya? At least knock on the door first, I was in the middle of writing something."

"Shh! I'm not supposed to be here." He placed his index finger over his lips to signal you to stop talking. The boy slowly closed the door to the room closed and properly entered. "I wanted to see you after Miura-san and Harue-san did, but the teacher didn't let me. Sensei said that as a boy, I shouldn't watch a young girl sleep."

"...Uh-huh. No wonder I didn't see you." It was a relief to find out that he wasn't purposely ignoring you.

"Did you miss me?" He playfully grinned.

This guy really was trying to play some tricks on you. "More like you missed me..."

"How did you know? I did miss you." Damn you, Nishinoya. Don't ever say that to me again.

A small red hue made its way to your cheeks – you would rather die then have him see you in such a flustered state like this. You really gotta calm down. "...Did you need something?"

The boy tip-toed towards your futon and kneeled beside it. "I just really wanted to see you. I hope you're doing well. Oh, how's your head?"

"It's fine, I think." You smacked his incoming hand away – seems like he wanted to caress your wound. "It doesn't hurt."
