Four and a half years later...

Motto: When others interfere and call that help and then everything goes wrong! Part 1!

Zhan sits annoyed at his computer and clicks bored from one side to the other. This was not how he had imagined the evening. Actually he and Yibo had wanted to go out for dinner together. But now Yibo has to check the homework and tests of his primary school children and it is getting later and later.

Yibo has been a primary school teacher for four months now and since then Zhan has had to step back often. Of course he realized that there was no other way. But that didn't mean that it wouldn't annoy him anyway.

Even while Yibo was studying, the two of them had less time for each other than expected. Zhan always thought that things would get better once Yibo was working. But he was wrong. Because Yibo is a very passionate primary school teacher and very conscientious. Even today, on a Friday evening.

To get a little more attention from Yibo again and to see if Yibo really still loves him as much as in the beginning, Zhan thought of something to provoke Yibo.

"Uhm Yibo?"

"Mmm?"

"I'm going to a concert on Saturday."

"Mmm, okay."

"There's this new idol and I really like him a lot. Great voice, great moves."

"OKAY."

"I thought I'd give your former manager a call. He is the manager of this idol now. Maybe I can meet him personally."

"All right."

"So you don't mind?"

"No, I don't mind."

Zhan was really angry because he thought Yibo didn't listen to him. So he said, "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. I'm pregnant."

"Fine." Yibo replied.

"Yes, really nice. But I'm planning on having an abortion. At least I don't want to meet this new idol when I'm carrying your baby in my belly."

"I see."

Zhan gritted his teeth in rage "I'm going to bed now."

"Okay. Good night."

Zhan rose angrily from his seat, went to Yibo's office door, closed it and then got dressed. He just needed a moment of fresh air before he burst with rage.

He also wanted to see how Yibo reacts when he goes to bed and notices that Zhan is not there.

So Zhan walked around the streets a little and then stopped at the pub. Should he maybe have a drink or two? Was that really a good idea on an empty stomach? "Whatever." Zhan said to himself and entered the pub.

To his surprise, he met Zoey Meng there, who has been remarried for a year. And surprise, she too is currently having problems with her husband. Her husband is a teacher in a vocational school and so Zoey knows Zhan's problem really well.

"You know what bothers me the most?" She asked him.

"No, what?" Zhan wanted to know.

"We've been together five years and married a year, and that he makes me feel like I'm not interesting enough."

"Mm. Yibo and I have been together for six and a half years and four and a half years of marriage and I know exactly what you mean. Think about it, today is Friday and we wanted to go out for dinner again after a long time. But instead he sits at home and checks his children's homework and tests."
