i get out of the bathroom then head back to the kitchen to see oikawa slicing the bread. so he's just gonna act like nothing just happened. okay.
"want some?" oikawa asks as he puts a piece of bread in his mouth and holds a piece out to me.
"oikawa, we're supposed to show the dish before eating it."
his eyes widened as he was about to put another piece in his mouth but stopped. he put the plate of milk bread down in front of the camera for a couple seconds and ended the video. "perfect!"
"send me the video. i don't trust you editing it."
"what- why not?"
"because you're oikawa."
"whatever, lets watch a movie!" oikawa walks into the living room and i follow behind him.
"what? no. i only agreed to working on the project. i can't handle you in here for another second."
"please, chinami-chan~? see, even lenny wants me to stay!" oikawa exclaims as lennon jumps up onto the couch next to him.
"hey, only i call him lenny."
"not anymore~~"
i get on the couch and sit near oikawa. he grabs the remote with his right hand while his left pets lennon. curse you lenny, his cuteness is irresistible.
oikawa puts on coraline. what the hell, how does he know my favorite movies? he slowly scoots closer to me after lennon goes to his dog bed.
"are you good?" i raise an eyebrow.
"of course, i'm okay, chinami-chan! w-why wouldn't i be..?"
totally okay. i bet he wants to like.. cuddle or some shit like that. i grab my phone from the table as i get a notification. oh, it's tendou!

guess i have a 'date' now. wait. he said ushijima is going to be there. how will i live knowing i'm in the same place as some guy i had a crush on because i saw on instagram.
oikawa and i continue the movie and he eventually goes home. he sends me the video of our milk bread 'tutorial' and i watch it through. i smile as i listen to our conversations throughout baking. besides the fact that i got burned, i wouldn't mind doing it all over again.
