Waking up in Roman's arms felt too addicting. Virgil didn't want to let it happen again after the first time since he knew how good it felt, but here he was, back in Roman's arms all because Roman freaked out when he left.

Virgil tried to get up, but Roman just held onto him tighter. Virgil sighed, looking down at Roman with a soft look. He knew he was getting attached, but he couldn't help it. Despite everything, Roman was still making him fall for him.

He knew that falling in love was a mistake, even if Roman wanted him. It wouldn't last... for him it couldn't last. Nothing lasts that long.

"Virgil?" Roman asked in a sleepy voice.

"I'm still here, Ro," Virgil said with a small sigh. "I'm still here."

"Don't... please don't leave me," Roman muttered, still half asleep. "I... I don't want you to leave."

"Roman, I'm still here," Virgil said gently.

"But you haven't said that you aren't leaving," Roman said, looking up at Virgil. "I don't want you to leave me. I'll handcuff myself to you if I have to, because you aren't leaving me again."

"Roman that wouldn't solve anything." Virgil's expression was unusually soft as he looked at Roman, who was still very clearly upset from the last three days.

"You aren't leaving me," Roman stated. "I'm not letting you leave me again."

"Is this really just because of the last three days?" Roman's eyes darkened, and Virgil decided it was best not to push Roman. "Fine... I'm not going to leave."

"Good." Virgil faltered as Roman smiled happily and pulled him back down so he was laying next to him.

"We have to get up at some point," Virgil pointed out. "We can't just lay here all day, Roman."

"Oh yes we can," Roman stated. "I don't care what anyone says, if they try to get me to get out of this bed they're immediately being killed. I'm spending all day in this bed with you, and no one can stop me."

"As much fun as laying here all day would be, we really should get up," Virgil said gently. Roman just pulled him closer in response, and Virgil was aware that at this point there was zero space between them. "Roman, what on earth are you doing?"

"I'm cuddling you, obviously," Roman stated. "You never let me touch you, so I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts."

"There's still blood on me." Virgil was running out of excuses.

"I don't care. It brings out your eyes." Virgil sighed and gave in, just letting himself be held. He didn't want to admit it, but he was really enjoying it. "There you go, darling. Just enjoy it."

"You're really clingy," Virgil teased. Roman just smirked at him and fluttered his eyelashes, nuzzling into Virgil's neck. He started pressing soft, lazy kisses along Virgil's jaw.

"I'm only clingy when I don't get attention," Roman stated. There was a light blush on Virgil's face as Roman continued to kiss along his neck and jaw.

"You're always clingy," Virgil said.

"Well then clearly I'm not getting enough attention," Roman purred. "You never let me touch you. You never touch me. I get nothing. Of course I'm going to soak up anything I get."

"You're really never going to let me go now, are you?" Virgil asked with a sigh.

"Nope!" Roman said with a small laugh. "You're mine now."

"I agreed not to leave, not that I was yours," Virgil said. "I never said anything about this happening again after today."

"Don't leave me." Virgil was surprised to see how broken Roman looked. "Please- just don't leave me. I can't stand the pain of being around you but never being able to have you. I've tried for so long to hold myself back, but I can't live without you."

"I don't understand what's changed now," Virgil said.

"I got to have what I'd always wanted for one night," Roman said quietly. "After that... it just never seemed like enough. I can't ever seem to get you out of my head."

"Roman, this obsession isn't healthy," Virgil said softly.

"I don't care," Roman stated. "Please. Just be my obsession. Just let me have this."

"Answer this for me, Roman," Virgil whispered. "Do you really want me?"

"More than I wanted my crown." Virgil's eyes widened as Roman stared at him with obvious longing. "More than I've wanted anything in my life."

"Alright then," Virgil breathed out. "I'll give you this." Virgil let Roman pull him into a soft kiss, relaxing into him.

"Thank you," Roman said quietly. Virgil started running his hands through Roman's hair as he let himself be held close, just enjoying the feeling of being held. He knew that he shouldn't, but Roman was too addicting for him not to just enjoy it.
