As she spoke a large figure, larger than some actual buildings, suddenly appeared, as the figure swing it’s arms, it’s huge fist smacked and destroyed brick houses that was before it, with a powerful jolt of strength. This gigantic creature had a muscled body, ugly, fungus infested bare feet, on it’s waist was a big piece of clothing, and on it’s face was an ugly expression of rage and destruction, and it’s eye(because it had just one eye) located in the middle of it’s forehead held the alteration of chaos. The creature then gave a frightful roar, one that resonated and shook the whole town, and when it walked, every stomp of his giant feet crushed gravel roads and left it’s thick footprints on the mashed grounds.
“Me is Brute the monster!” roared the gigantic creature. “Me kill Zarochians and enemies that takes the general’s squishy plaything!” it’s words were like a series of thunders clapping in one’s skull, it stomped near to where the odd group stood, virtually fazed and shock strung.“It’s a Cyclops!” wailed Ersa nervously.
“Run! Immediately!” cried Malovin, quite shaken one might add.
Lozen grunted as she led the way. The Cyclops held a large wooden bludgeon, it swung it recklessly, there was a large swoosh of air and a vibrating thus that brought tremors to the earth, as it struck the grounds they were in before running.
The Cyclops ran with a smoldering intensity, as it clamored it’s extraordinary weight in movement, “Must squash little mortals!” the creature roared as it trotted clumsily.
The group ran with a renewed energy, their legs took long strides in long distances, while their lungs and muscles begged for release, for a bit if mere oxygen, as sweats dripped like streams from their skins. First, they heard swooshing sounds, then a large bludgeon was projecting from above, before landing and dividing them into separate trails, with it’s tremendous intrusion.
Malovin was feeling the rigors of fatigue, before he was starting to slow down, while muttering. “I don’t remember signing up for this. . . I really didn’t sign up for this.” He squeaked, exasperated and weary. His limp rod was flapping between his thighs, and his arse cheeks bounced in the cold chill of the night. With a cautious look back Lozen speed to where he was, taking a rest, before picking him up and carrying him on her back casually.
“You signed up for this when you got involved with me remember? I warned you about it didn’t? Stubborn Malovin!” She teased comically.
The Cyclops was running now, its every steps caused major earth tremors as it did, his rage was couple with his frightful roars that squealed bravery away. Suddenly, before anyone noticed, it swing it’s weapon upwards, above Lozen, and brought down his large arms to smash, but Lozen was surely agile enough to dodge, while finding stamina as the vibrations of the hit reverberated, carelessly though, Malovin was roughly plunged to the ground, he yowled in pain as the bruises ached him, but before he could make a smart remark, Lozen grabbed him in an attempt to run.
They had been lucky, they knew it too as they trotted out of the district walls, and into the open fields away from Gorian, while the monster slowed down, being tired him, with the sting of exasperation slowing him down to rest.
Lozen, Ersa and Malovin all exclaimed words if thanks to the goddesses above, while taking in long breaths of air and wiping their chins and foreheads clear of sweat, before Ersa looked up with a quizzical expression on her face. “Uhm guys! I know this is a wrong time to ask this. . .” she began. “But I was wondering what’s the name of your child? I noticed you guys haven’t referred to the baby’s name since,”
Malovin scratched his beard sardonically, “Aye. . .Uhm. . .yes. we haven’t exactly discussed or thought about that part yet.” He said.
“What ever do you mean?” asked Ersa curiously.
