Yes it's going to be a long book, and I'll like you to share this journey with you, so don't stop reading and voting, and sharing. Thank you for the honor! The morning came too quickly, the sun was mashed up on the sky, in between the fluffy clouds, shining golden rays, too beautiful to simply ignore.
Rode in particular didn't know where she had slept, puzzled as stood up from a wooden chair that creaked as she moved out of it slowly, disorienting and off balance, and even with a stagger, as she stood up, fully awake.
As soon as her eyes was wide open, Rode saw a woman standing near her, the woman looked more like a huge beast than a woman actually, with a brawny and muscled body and a face that was glaring at Rode, tightly squeezed in a frown, like Rode was her sworn enemy, she was also bald, with little disjointing little eyes, hideous would've been near a description for her.
"And who the fuck might you be?" asked Rode harshly, she quickly went for her sword, only to be calmed down by an appearing Guero, who who looked like a morning person, morning persons always looked bright and shiny when the day breaks, they're the lucky ones that actually have beauty sleeps, Rode was more of an evening or night person, mornings made her grumpy and anxious to Impale someone with her large sword.
"She's friendly," intervened Guero. "That's Pixie, my companion and bodyguard, isn't she really pretty?"
Rode grunted a no, if that was entirely possible, that is. "What do you need a bodyguard for? I've seen you fight. Do you really need protection?" she asked.
"Oh no! Not protection from harmful people, people are the ones that needs protection from me, Pixie is here to keep me in check, uh-huh, let's go with that," said Guero, with a playful grin, the jesters' smile and insanity glinting in her eyes. "C'mon meanie! Lots of things to see,"
She was awfully beautiful, not Pixie, of course not, Guero I mean, her words were more like mere poetry, her smile was not sincere, not entirely, a sadness etched beneath them.
A sadness too great, to show the world, a madness that humanity shouldn't see, a scary monster of a different kind, hidden beneath a grin.
The way she moved was so natural, like the flowing of a stream, effortless and with ease, like a good music, and her beauty was like wine, too much of it could intoxicate you.
First Guero took Rode, more like dragged her to an enchanting garden, the 'Garden of Elmba' as it was named, which had brick walkways and stone hedges at the corner of their paths, perfectly trimmed bushes, lanterns and even marble statue of an eloquent Demeter was placed naturally on a round fountain, flowers which were so stunning to not glance at in dismay, their spectacle was enhanced in the morning sunlight.
Guero could spot her favourites, they were water lilies; an attention grabbing marvel, with light purplish petals that were shaped like an umbrella, wolfbane; a bright bluish petals that was simply astonishing to gaze upon, it's stalk and anthers were light yellowish, many more ravishing plants lay by, but something caught Guero's eye, something more daring.
She also gestured Rode there, against her best wishes, a large fence protected a spectacular vineyard, where lush grapes hung on vine trees, purplish and sumptuous.
Of course Guero stole and plucked two or more, only forcing a couple of them into Rode's mouth forcefully, a wooden stall lay across them.
They walked to it, with a slow stroll, to spy if anyone was around, but thankfully or awfully, depending on how you might perceive it, nobody was in, the stall was empty, exempting the barrels of wine that was stored.
