A meeting occurred. A monster with six eyes and a blood thirst that didn't quite get it's fill, lunged in blank anger, like a dragon spews out fire, being vengeful and inpatient, it's precious maggot babies were burnt too, which she bore from her skin.

The darkness too was with it, it was it's comfort, it was creeping all over it's body or what remained of it anyway and as the frustration built up inside of it, the monster let out a screech, loud and violent.

"Shut up! You nasty monster, I gave you a mission. You absolutely couldn't even complete it," boomed a cringed voice, from across the empty street, the monster stared where the voice resonated from. "I deliberately summoned you to kill all the vestals in that monastery, why are my sources now reporting that two vestals escaped?"

The monster snarled, then moved in a ghost-like manner, disappearing then materializing in a spot, like a shadow, like a flickering flame.

"I shall handle the vestals myself, you should leave that to the high order. Guarding the Regent of Ceres is your next assignment, let me make it rigourously clear that you should not differ from your duties, use any means necessary, now scatter." said the cringed voice, and the person behind the voice whom was hidden with a cloak, stretched it's arm to the monster, and in a blink of an eye, the monster vanished.

"This city shall bow to the high order of 'Sito.' No one can find out the truth." the voice whispered to itself, before vanishing, into nothingness once more.

Tiki, son of the Regent Pantea Arteshbod woke up with a headache, he knew it was morning, he could feel sunlight perching on his olive skin, but he closed his eyes shut from keeping awake, and he wished that his mother wouldn't come to wake him up, and he wished his obnoxious twin sister wouldn't waltz in his room, demanding anything from him.

Then he remembered. He wasn't at home anymore, his mother was many miles away, and his sister haven't been seen yet, and it was at that moment, his eyes fled open, allowing the Ray's of the sun to invade his retina, so when the sunlight became too intense, he twitched his eyes and rubbed it with his arm.

The abandoned storage where he stood up in, was very high in height and robust in size, but least importantly, it smelled of fish and rotten sardines.

Tiki searched for May, not seeing her in the sheets of clothes they used as beds late last night, he could see the dust dancing in the spectre of the sun, as it flooded through the window, then he searched for his companion.

May was in another room, that was recognizably an old office, she was on both her knees, with her palms outstretched, like that of a beggar  demanding for alms, her skin glowed as her mouth muttered inaudibly, then it stopped as Tiki's footsteps announced him, she was facing North, towards a wall, towards the direction of the temple of Demeter.

The silence boomed before May spoke, while her eyes were closed, without turning towards Tiki. "You're a man." she said blankly, her tone was sharp, like a knife.

"That's a lie," lied Tiki, trying still to be in the game of spies.

"You're a man. Don't lie to me anymore," said May.

"Why do you think so, yeah?" asked Tiki.

"As the sun rose, the stick between your thighs rose with it," replied May sardonically, then turned suddenly, with a frown etched on her face. "Why didn't you say so? How long have you been lying to me?"

"Look, I'm from Ishtar. I needed to get to Juventas, dressing up like a vestal was the quickest way I could do that," he said, his voice was low and apologetic.
