Tomura drove the truck, while Toga and I sat in the back, waiting for the signal.
"Okay, we are here," Tomura said, voice tightening.
"We got this," Toga said, to encourage me. It was my first mission after all.
"Everyone knows what their job is?" I checked, knowing that this could either go very well or badly. And if it went badly? We would go to jail. They nodded their heads.
"Alright," I said, "see you both soon!" I leaped out of the truck, and threw an energy rope on to the top of the building. I held on to it, willing the beam to be smaller, and I zoomed up the side of City Hall. From atop the balcony, I saw the truck speed off to the front of City Hall. Tomura and Toga got out and took a security guard hostage, yelling at the guards to back away. I planned the diversion to give me enough time to run downstairs. I checked the building for any people before setting off the bomb. All For One and I agree that no one dies unless it's completely necessary. I ran out of the building and out into the truck. Tomura and Toga were waiting for me, grinning.
"Good job, Ivy. We managed to escape from the security guards because Toga took the blood of the guard we kidnapped and pretended to be him telling everyone he was fine!" Tomura laughed. Soon enough, we heard an echoing BOOM, and we knew we were successful.
"Great job, both of you. Now for part 2..." I smiled smugly, listening to the confused shouts of chaos coming from a destroyed City Hall.
We headed off to Superhero Skyscraper. This was more complicated. Although the cops and superheroes were investigating the bombing of City Hall, this was a huge building. But, the investigation of City Hall left me plenty of time to work on this challenge, undisturbed. I got out of the truck and Tomura came with me.
"Now it's your turn," I glanced at him. His gaze was focused on the tower.
"Can you do it?" I asked, hesitantly.
"Yes," he bit his lip, "it just might take some time."
"We have all night," I smiled. Everything was going as planned. We headed up to the top of the building, after he disintegrated the door. At the top, he put his ungloved hand onto the skyscraper's glass. Slowly but surely, the building began to disintegrate.
After an hour, the skeleton of the building was ash. The glass was dissolving at a fast rate. No sign of any superheroes or police yet. Finally, the entire building itself was gone, with only a huge pile of rubble. Broken chairs, desks, papers sat unmoving on the ground. Toga, Tomura, and I rearranged them into words. Time to reveal myself.
We looked at our masterpiece. Now, the world knows my name. Not Izuku Midoriya, the name of the weak, quirkless, ignorant kid. Ivy, the name of a villain who is willing to die to make his dreams come true.
The following morning, I woke up to the pounding sound of sirens, seemingly coming from all directions. I sat up in my bed, panicked. Were they here for me? Soon enough, they settled into the distance. Then, I noticed the TV was turned on in my room.
"Officials say to avoid most of downtown Musutafu. Both City Hall and Superhero Skyscraper were destroyed last night. Police and heroes are not giving out the names of suspects but many civilians reported that they saw the words "With many thanks, from Ivy and the League Of Villains," on the ground, made of rubble. Next on is why UA is gonna be the next target-" I turned the TV off, with a sounding click. A cold satisfaction made me shiver in delight. They were panicking. They were confused. It is time.
