Over the next week, Toga managed to hack into UA's files and add me as the new transfer student. I will act as a new kid, and steal information about the security so we could later launch a full out attack. I will also watch over the kids for potential villain motives. If I could get a few of the kids from the Hero Course to be villains, UA would be mocked. Now, all I had to do was buy myself a disguise and enjoy the Hero Program of UA High School.

With a red wig and big blue glasses, I almost looked like a whole new person. I packed my backpack and took the bus to downtown Musutafu. I got out at UA, took a deep breath, and strolled through the arched entrance. I climbed up the stairs to class 2-A. I need to stay low, not draw attention to myself, and pretend to be quirkless. I stuck my head into a book about superhero origins and headed for my seat. All of a sudden, I bumped into something and my glasses almost fell off. I quickly grabbed them and put them on. I didn't want people to recognize me from the missing posters.

"Sorry," I mumbled quietly. I lifted my eyes up to see a tall, thin guy with half red, half white hair, and a burn scar on his eye.

"It's fine. Are you the new student?" he asked, tilting his head. I nodded.

He smiled and said, "Nice to meet you. My name is Shoto Todoroki. What is your name?"

I didn't smile back. "My name is Kenji."

I pushed past him and sat down in my seat. Suddenly, from behind me, a hand pulled my book away from me. I turned to see my worst nightmare. Why is HE in this class?

"Ha, what a nerd! A book about superheroism? Desperate loser!" It was Bakugou.

"Please give me my book back," I asked quietly. He raised his eyebrow and the book exploded into flames. He laughed mockingly and rubbed the ashes on my desk. I pursed my lips and turned away. Familiar anger coursed through my body, but I kept my cool. I took a deep breath and calmed myself down.

A guy with spiky red hair came up to Bakugou and me. He playfully punched Bakugou who growled and socked him back. The redhead grimaced but smiled at me.

"Yo Kacchan! Stop being such a cocky jerk! What's up, new kid? I'm Kirishima!" I nodded my head, but kept my eyes on my book.

"My name is Kenji.." I whispered. I could tell blending in was gonna be a challenge.

Throughout the week, I trained, quirkless, with the other students. I kept my head down and observed. My most worthy opponents were a navy blue haired guy named Ida, a bubbly girl named Uraraka, a quiet frog-like girl named Tsuyu, Kirishima, and Todoroki. Oh, and of course Bakugou. After watching them in action, I discovered that Ida has rocket legs, Uraraka can control gravity, Tsuyu has frog-like abilities, and Kirishima can harden his skin. Todoroki's power I am still not sure of. He is a strange guy. He watched me the whole week! I can't tell if he knows anything about who I actually am.

As I was leaving the classroom, Todoroki pulled me over. He blocked the door to the classroom.

"I know you're hiding something," he said, watching me, suspiciously. I froze.

"Something about Bakugou. You always glare at him." He leaned against the door frame.
"Trade secrets?" he stared at me, looking for a reaction. I said nothing.

"Okay, I will go first," he said shrugging. He hesitated. Did he really trust me to tell him this much?

"Ever heard of quirk marriages?" I shook my head.

"It's when two people with strong quirks marry to have kids with even stronger quirks. Anyway, it is illegal because the kids become too powerful. But my parents didn't listen to the law. I am the result of my parent's quirks. Half fire and half ice. My father, Endeavor, is the number two hero. My mom was the strongest in her school for years. My right side is ice and my left is fire. I hate it! I hate being no more than a tool for my father. A tool that he will use to make the family legacy greater than ever before. So I rebelled against him. I never use my left side in battle. And I will never."

I was stunned. But I shook the surprise off quickly. Here was someone who could have a villain motive.

"Now," he said looking at me, "your turn."

"Oh it's nothing much," I lied, "just wondering why Bakugou hates me so much."

"I know that's not all," he sighed, "I can't force you to tell me. But I will find out." He left the room. I sat down at my desk. I don't particularly enjoy eating in the cafeteria. I always ate here; no one bothers me here. I stood up and went to the window. I looked out at the undeserving world. Only the true at heart deserve quirks. Most of the world takes full advantage of their power. It is not right.

Suddenly, someone pushed me into the window. I gritted my teeth. Not this again.

"What a weakling. Psh, I could beat you in a second! You don't deserve to be here," Bakugou's voice rang through the empty classroom, "Go die!"

He took it too far now. I could hear my heartbeat in my ears. I stared at him. He seemed shocked at his own words, too.

"What did you say?" I asked, unable to move with anger.

"You heard me," he laughed, "Go die-" I screamed. I was sick of this. Sick of the bullying, sick of trying to push my feelings back. Instead of holding it all in, I let the anger and disgust flow freely and motivate me. I couldn't control the beast inside me anymore.
