Chapter 11- Everythings Better

Kinley's POV
I woke up with Carl beside me. My head was laying on his chest and his arms were wrapped around me. I smiled to myself because I was so glad I had him back.

I stayed there for a while. I heard crying noises. I got up and opened the door. It was coming from my brothers room.
"Matthew?" I asked opening his door.
"Yea?" He asked wiping his eyes.
He hasn't come out of that room since he was in my room.

"You have to come out sometime." I said sitting beside him and hugging him.
"I just miss her so much." He said wiping his eyes again.
"I'll go get you some breakfast." I said smiling, trying to brighten the mood.
He nodded and I walked out.
I went downstairs and walked into the kitchen.

"Morning." I heard a voice say.
I turned around and saw Beth.
"Beth!" I screamed hugging her.
It just hit me. How can I be so stupid? Beth was the one in the freakin picture.
"Hey Beth do you know anyone named Matthew?" I asked smiling.

Her face lit up.
"Stay right behind there, I'll be right back." I said smiling and putting her behind the door and walking up stairs.
I walked in Matthews room.
"Matthew can I show you something?" I asked smiling.
"What is it?" He asked.
"You've missed her for a long time." I said smiling.

He smiled and followed me downstairs.
"Your a freakin liar." Matthew said looking at me.
Beth got out and I smiled.
"Um you'll regret that when you turn around." I said smiling.
Matthew made a confused face and turned around.

They both bursted into tears and hugged each other.
I smiled.
They pulled away and kissed.
"Thank you Kinley." Matthew said kissing me on my forehead.
Beth nodded.
"Your welcome." I said smiling.
I walked back upstairs and into me and Carl's room.

He was asleep still.
I got back in bed with him and snuggled up to his bare chest.
He moaned and opened his eyes.
He smiled and kissed me on my forehead.
"Morning Sheriff Boy." I said smiling.
"Morning Princess." He said pulling me closer.

"I'm hungry Carl. We have to get up." I said smiling.
Carl shook his head and pulled me in tighter, wrapping both of his arms around me.
"First morning together." Carl said smiling and closing his eyes.
I smiled and kissed him then pulled back.

He was confused.
"If you get out of bed I'll kiss you." I said looking at his blue eyes.
He got up and he was wearing nothing but his boxers.
I smiled and walked up to him.
He put his hands on my waist and I put my hands around his neck.

He was smiling at me and looking at my eyes. I looked at his making eye contact. He smiled and then I smiled and I slowly leaned in. Our lips slowly touched. He kissed back of course, thats what he wanted.

He slowly pressed me up against the wall and we never pulled apart.
"Do y'all want some breakf-" Matthew asked but saw us and stopped.
Me and Carl pulled away and stood there as both of our faces were cherry red.

Matthew smiled.
"You don't have to hide that, I understand. Breakfast is ready in 10." Matthew said winking and shutting the door.
Me and Carl looked at each other and laughed.

"Do you wanna continue? Or breakfast?" Carl asked smirking.
"Breakfast then continue." I said smiling.
Carl made a pouty face and I laughed.
He put on his shirt and shorts from last night. He didn't put on his hat.
I smiled wondering why he didn't put it on.
"What?" He asked smiling.
"You." I said looking at my bare feet.

Carl lifted up my chin slowly and gentle.
"Don't hide your face. It's beautiful." Carl said kissing my forehead.
I smiled and kissed him again and he kissed back. I pulled away. Carl smiled and held my hand as we walked out.

"Here's your plates." Matthew said giving us 2 plates of bacon.
Carl smiled at Matthew. "Thank you." I said smiling.
"Oh crap. Carl this is my brother Matthew." I said looking from Carl to my brother.
They shook hands but didn't say anything.

"I'm her boyfriend." Carl said awkwardly.
"I kinda figured that." Matthew said chuckling.
I smiled and ate my bacon, sitting beside Carl.
"You better be good to her or I-" Matthew said but I interrupted.
"Matthew." I said smiling.
"He needs to know not to hurt you or I'll hurt him. That's all." Matthew said looking at Carl.

Carl wasn't very comfortable, I scooted closer and Carl wrapped his arms around me.
"He's already good to me." I said smiling.
Matthew and Carl smiled.
"He better be." Matthew said walking out.

"Overprotective." I said smiling.
"It's cool. He's your brother, I understand." Carl said kissing me on my head. I finished my plate and walked upstairs to take a shower.
Carl stayed down there and finished his plate.

I looked in the dresser and pulled out a crop top and some jean shorts. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. I undressed myself and got in. The water was warm on my body.
*door opens*
I peeked out of the curtain, only showing my face, to see Carl.

"What are you doing?" I said smiling.
"Continuing." Carl said taking off his shirt.
"Carl you are not coming in here." I said smiling.
"Your smiling so you want me to come." Carl said smirking.
"You better not do anything stupid." I said to Carl.
He nodded, smiled, and locked the door.

He was getting undressed and so I closed the curtain.
I faced the other way so he couldn't see my front.
He came up and hug me from behind.
I had my hands crossed so he couldn't see my front upper part.
He turned me around and put his hand to my cheek.

I looked up and he was staring at my eyes. I looked into his eyes and we leaned in and kissed. I let go of covering myself so I could play in his wet hair with my hands. He smiled in the kiss and pulled away.
"Your so freakin beautiful." Carl said smiling.
I smiled and kissed him again and he kissed back.

"Don't waist the water!" Rick said knocking on the door.
"Sorry I'm almost done." I said pulling away from Carl.
I waited until I heard him walk away.
"I haven't even taken a shower yet. Dang it Carl." I said smiling.
Carl smiled.
"I'll get out then." Carl said pulling out of our position.

I held onto his arm and he smirked.
"Please stay." I said looking at his ocean blue eyes.
He smiled and kissed me again.
I kissed back.
I pulled away and soaped up and washed my hair and shaved. Carl did the same.

Carl got the sprayer down and sprayed me.
I screamed and Carl laughed. I got in the corner so basically my back was facing him.
"Turn around." Carl said.
"Your gonna spray me." I said.
"No I'm not." Carl said in a serious tone.

I turned around and there was no Carl but the sprayer dangling. I put the sprayer up and turned the water off.
I felt arms grab me and pull me down.
I fell out of the shower on top of Carl. Thank the lord he had a towel on.
I laughed and grabbed my towel and put it around me. Carl smiled and hugged me from behind.

I turned around and hugged him back. I snuggled my head up to his chest and he wrapped his arms around me. I felt safe in his arms, I always do.
I grabbed my clothes and put them on while Carl put on his. I brushed my hair out and put it in a messy bun.

I was standing in front of the mirror, fixing my hair and Carl was smirking. I turned around and smiled. He kept that smirk on his face. I shook my head and turned back around to face the mirror. Carl came from behind me and hugged me. His arms were around my stomach.

I smiled and turned around to kiss him. I smashed my lips into his and he kissed back immediately.
*gun shot*
I pulled back and Carl looked worried. I was too. We walked out of the bathroom and we ran downstairs.
"What's going on?" Carl yelled/asked.

The old guy that greeted me when I got here, was pointing a gun to my brother.

So if you've noticed there's no Taylor anymore but there's Beth. I basically switched Beth and Taylor but Beth keeps her name.
