Chapter 15- People Eater

Kinley's POV

I didn't know what to do.
"Just wait for them to come back." Carl said hugging me from the side.
I just nodded not able to speck.
Carl hugged me fully. I hugged back scared to death.

"It's okay." Carl said rubbing my back.
I just nodded and pulled away.
"We're back!" Daryl yelled.
I turned and looked at Daryl.
He saw my expression and dropped everything and rushed to me.
"What happened?" Daryl asked worried.

I just shook my head not able to talk.
"There's a helicopter on the roof but there was some people too, well walkers. We killed them all but that doesn't matter right now. How did that get there?" Carl said.
Daryl and everyone else was shocked and scared.

"No." Rick said shaking his head.
He yelled and cussed.
I was freaking out so bad right now.
"What's going on?" Carl asked.
"Someone is trying to kill us." Rick said grabbing a gun.
My heart dropped and I stood there in shock.

"What?" Carl asked shocked.
"But the worse part is I think I know who." Rick said.
I didn't say a word and everyone went silent.
Rick kissed Carls head and hugged him.
"I love you Carl." Rick said.

"I love you too Dad." Carl said sweet but confused.
"I love you too Kinley." Rick said.
I smiled, "I love you too Rick."
He smiled and hugged me and kissed my head.
"Take care of each other just in case anything happens. Hide upstairs and keep your guns out." Rick said.

Carl nodded.
We said our goodbyes and gave hugs and everyone left besides Carl, Jake, Maddie, and Me. I was scared to be honest.

We locked the front door and grabbed food and water and ran upstairs. We went in me and Carls room and Jake and Maddie came too. Me and Carl pulled out our guns while Jake held Maddie.

"Don't say a word if someone comes in." Carl said.
We all nodded.
Maddie was asleep.
We heard a slam.

My heart dropped but I gripped my gun stronger.
Carl looked at me.
"Don't make a sound." Carl mouthed.
We all nodded.
Maddie was sound asleep.
Good.

"We know yall are in here." A voice said.
I got scared.
Me and Carl pointed our guns at the door.
"Jake, Maddie, Carl, Kinley." A voice said.
My heart dropped.

"We don't want to hurt you just come out now and everything will be okay." The voice said.
I looked at Carl and he shook his head.
I nodded.
"We don't wanna have to knock all the doors down." The voice said.

My stomach was aching.
"Don't let him get me!" Maddie screamed.
"I'm starting to like this girl." The voice said.
My heart dropped and I looked at Carl.

Who looked at me and back at the door.
I pointed it at the door more tight.

"Put that gun down and get on the floor." Rick said through the door.
I smiled.
"Do what he said!" The voice said.
"Don't come out yet Carl." Rick said.
I looked at Carl and he nodded.
We put our guns down.

I walked over to him and hugged him.
He hugged back.
I pulled away when I heard the voice.
"Please we can walk away from this." The voice said.
"That's what you said last time." Rick said.
Then I heard screaming and slicing and blood splattered.

I wanted to puke.
"Dad?" Carl asked.
"Not yet." Rick said.
About 10 minutes later we opened the door. Everything looked normal but blood stains on the floor.

"Who was that?" I asked.
"His name was Gareth." Rick said.
I nodded.
"He wasn't a very good person. He killed people for food and tried to kill us." Rick said.
I was shocked about the words that just came out.

Carl noticed me and pulled me close.
"He's gone now and all of his other people is too." Rick said nodding then walking downstairs.
I looked at Carl and he smirked.
"I hope that was worth it." I said.
"It was." Carl said.

I nodded.
Jake and Maddie walked out of our room.
"Are we okay now?" Jake asked.
"I think so." Carl said smiling.
"Is Maddie alright?" I asked.
Jake nodded and smiled.

Maddie was asleep and cuddled up to Jake.
I smiled and Jake walked into his room and shut the door.
I walked into our room and sat down on the bed.
Carl smirked and shut the door and locked it.

"What are you planning Carl Grimes?" I asked smiling.
He smirked and tackled me down on the floor.
We laughed.
He pinned me down and was hovering over me.

I looked into his blue eyes and he looked into mine.
He smiled and kissed me.
I smiled and kissed back.
He unpinned me and I pushed him over on his back making him laugh.
I pinned down his arms and he looked up at me.

He started laughing so hard.
Making me laugh too.
He just stared at me.
I stared at him smiling.
"What?" I asked still smiling.
"Nothing." He said smirking.

"I've just never seen you in control." Carl said smirking.
I smiled and shook my head.
"Carl Grimes I swear." I said smiling and smashing my lips into his.
He kissed back.
I let go of his hands and he smirked in the kiss.

I pulled back to breath.
He smiled and I kissed him again.
He kissed back. Our lips moved in sync. I smiled in the kiss at the thought. I pulled back.

Carl was confused.
I smiled and kissed him again.
He kissed back and we kissed for a little bit more and I pulled away. I got up off of him. He smirked and I helped him up. He stood up and didn't let that smirk go.

"What?" I asked smiling.
He shook his head.
"Nothing your just really beautiful." Carl said smiling.
I smiled.
"Your just really handsome." I said smiling.
He smiled.

I walked towards the door and grabbed the door knob. Hands were around me and pulling me back. I laughed and was thrown on the bed.

I couldn't stop giggling.
"Your giggles are adorable." Carl said cuddling next to me.
I smiled and snuggled up to his warm chest.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"8" Carl said.

I nodded and cuddled up to him.
"I'm not in my pajamas." Carl said getting up.
He took off his shoes, shirt, and pants and laid back down.
I laughed at his 'pajamas'.
I took off my shoes and pants and laid back down.

Carl snuggled up beside me and I snuggled back up to his warm chest.
"Your warm and comfy." I said closing my eyes.
Carl chuckled and kissed my head.
I smiled and snuggled up more.

"Goodnight Carl, I love you." I said kissing his chest.
He laughed a little.
"Goodnight Kinley, I love you too." Carl said kissing my head again.
I smiled and snuggled up more.
I heard Carls steady heartbeat.
I smiled and fell asleep.
