Chapter 17- I'm Sorry

Kinley's POV
I sat up against the bedroom door and lost it. I just couldn't believe what I just did. I got made at Carl then kissed him. What the crap.

"Kinley..." Carl said knocking on the door.
"Yea." I said about to pull my hair out.
"Can I come in?" Carl asked.
I sighed and gave in.
I opened the door and he came in and I closed the door back and stayed there.

"I don't know what I just did." I admitted.
Carl laughed a little.
"I'm confused." Carl said.
I laughed and nodded.
"I don't even know right now Carl. You can't just kiss someone else and love them still." I said shaking my head at the end.

"Your the one who kissed me." Carl said laughing.
I laughed.
"I just can't do this." I admitted shaking my head.
"Do what?" Carl asked.

"I'm telling myself to stop it all with you but my heart says the opposite." I admitted looking at Carl.
He smirked.
"Same with me." Carl said.
I smiled.

I can't be without him at all.
I just can't.
No matter what happened I have to have him.
"Carl I can't be without you." I said smiling.
He smiled, "I know.".

I looked up at him to see he was already looking at me. I smiled.
Of course how we are he kissed me. I kissed back. Our lips were moving in sync and the kiss was getting deeper and more magical.

How can you kiss another person, let them yell at you, and then make out with them after. That's basically our relationship. I smiled in the kiss and Carl pulled away and we breathed. After about 10 seconds he kissed me again. I kissed back.

Carl has me locked around his heart like a key. But glued where I can't freakin move. Good job Carl with your perfectness. Carl pulled away and our foreheads touched. We listened to each other breath. I smiled.

"We're a weird couple." I said smiling.
Carl smiled.
"We fought, broke up, kissed, and then made out." Carl said.
We both laughed.
I shook my head and pulled away smiling.

"Can I have you back?" Carl asked.
I sighed.
"Yes because I can't live with out you." I said smiling.
Carl smiled and kissed my forehead.
"I love you and can't live without you either." Carl said smiling.

I smiled.
"I love you too." I said looking at him.
He smiled.
*Screams*
I jumped and turned around.
I looked at Carl who was worried.

I grabbed my gun and opened the door.
I ran downstairs and screamed.
Jake was crying and holding up a gun and Maddie was a walker.
I cried and backed up.
"CARL! I CANT!" I screamed balling my eyes out.
Carl ran and shot Walker Maddie.

I fell down on the floor and bursted into tears.
Jake was balling his eyes out worse then me.
I made myself get up and go to Jake.
I hugged him and he hugged back and cried. I cried too.

That was Jakes last family member.
He has no one else left.
No Body.
"Jake it's gonna be okay." I said crying.
He shook his head.
"She died in her sleep. I don't know what happened." Jake said crying.
I cried.

I felt arms rub my back and I looked to see Carl. I was close to Maddie and seeing her like that killed me. I pulled away from Jake and wiped my eyes. I got up and handed Jake a tissue and grabbed one for myself.

"I'll get her." Carl said.
I nodded and hugged Jake so he couldn't see.
Carl picked up Maddie with a sheet and brought her outside. He dug a whole and put her in there.

I cried and couldn't go out there.
I can't believe this is happening.
I cried and hugged Jake.
He balled his eyes out on my shoulder.
"I can't-" Jake said then breaking down in tears again.
"Jake," I said crying and hugging him tighter.

He hugged me tight and cried.
"I'm sorry." I said crying.
He nodded and pulled away and wiped his eyes.
I wiped my eyes and sighed.
This completely sucks.

I got up and went upstairs.
I laid in my bed and stared at the ceiling.
Jake came running in.
I jumped up.
"WALKERS!" Jake said crying.

I jumped up and packed everything.
I packed Carls bag and mine fast.
I ran downstairs as Jake followed with his stuff.
"Carl!" I screamed.
He turned to me and I threw him his bag.

"Let's go! Run!" Carl said.
Jake ran behind me.
We took off into the woods.
After about 20 minutes of never stopping there was no walkers.
"I wrote a note for the group on the door." Carl said breathing.
I nodded and breathed heavily.

"Are we okay?" I asked.
They both nodded.
"We need to find somewhere else to stay." Jake said.
We both nodded.
We walked for a long long time and finally found a house.

It was a small one but it had 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room. We walked inside and Carl banged on the wall. Nothing. We checked around anyways and found nothing.

I went into one of the smallest rooms and put my stuff down. I didn't unpack.
"Kinley?" Carl asked walking in.
I smiled.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Nothing just wondering what my girl is doing." Carl said smirking.
I smiled and put my bag in the closest.

Carl put his in there too.
I walked out and looked for Jake.
He was in one of the rooms asleep.
I smiled and shut the light off and shut the door.
Carl saw me and smirked.

"No Carl." I said laughing.
Carl pouted.
I smiled.
Carl walked up to me and pinned me against the wall.
I laughed.
"You better kiss me." I said laughing.
Carl smirked and smashed his lips into mine.

I smiled and kissed back.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and his arms were around my waist.
Carl backed up and tripped.
He fell on the ground, on his back.
We both laughed so hard.

Carl sat up and smiled.
"We can never make out properly." Carl said laughing.
I laughed and agreed.
Carl hovered over me and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
He smiled and kissed me.
I kissed back.

We all of a sudden fell over and I laughed.
"We can't do this." I said laughing.
Carl nodded and was laughing too.
He got up and helped me up.
He walked up to the door and locked it and he put the couch up against it.

He walked back down the hall to our room. He laid me down and shut the door. I took off my shoes and Carl cuddled up to me. I snuggled my head up to his chest as his arms were around me.

"I love you Carl." I said closing my eyes.
I felt a kiss on my forehead.
"I love you too Kinley." Carl said.
I smiled and fell asleep.
