Chapter 16- No More Grimes

Kinley's POV
I woke up with someone yelling.
I got up quickly and opened the door.
I saw nothing so I ran downstairs.
Carl was yelling at Jake.

"What's going on?" I asked getting in the middle of them.
They both shook there heads angrily.
Jake looked at me and sighed.
"Carl may have k-" Jake said but Carl cut him off.

"Shut Up Jake!" Carl yelled.
"Carl what did you do?" I asked crossing my arms.
Carl shook his head.
I turned to Jake who was had a scared look on his face.

I turned back to Carl.
"Tell me." I said getting mad.
Carl sighed.
"I can't." Carl said about to cry.
I shook my head.
"You told Jake!" I yelled at him.

I was getting so angry right now.
"I know." Carl said letting a tear fall.
"I'm done with this." I said walking upstairs and slamming the door.
I locked it and sat infront of the door.
What was he hiding and why? I'm so confused and worried and angry right now.

"Kinley open the door please." Carl said.
"Leave me alone." I said crying now.
Carl sighed.
"Please Kins." Carl said begging me.
"Not until you tell me." I said wiping my eyes.

"Open the door and I will." Carl said.
I sighed and got up and opened the door.
He walked in and shut it back.
I sat on the bed and looked at Carl.
"This is going to be hard." Carl said getting teary eyed.

My heart sunk to my toes.
I nodded slowly.
"I kissed another girl." Carl said quickly.
My heart dropped to my toes and I let a tear fall.
"What," Is all I said.

"I walked outside when you where in bed last night. There was a girl in the woods and I kissed her." Carl said crying.
I shook my head and got up.
Carl didn't move.

"Move I'm done." I said letting a tear fall.
Carl shook his head.
"CARL MOVE FREAKIN AWAY FROM THE FREAKIN DOOR!" I yelled at him crying.
"I'm sorry K-" Carl said but I stopped him.

"How could you?" I asked crying.
He shook his head and cried.
"I didn't mean to." Carl said.
"HOW CAN YOU NOT MEAN TO KISS SOMEBODY CARL?!?" I yelled at him crying.
He was crying worse than me.

"I know, I know." Carl said crying.
I shook my head and couldn't believe the 3 words that I never expected to say.
"We're done Carl." I said crying.
He nodded and moved out of the way.

I walked out of the room and slammed the door. I went to the bathroom and locked the door (the hole got fixed yesterday). I sat on the floor and cried my eyes out. I don't even know what to think or do or say.

I screamed and cried even harder.
"Kinley?" Jake asked knocking on the door.
"You okay?" He asked.
"No." I said wiping my eyes.
"Can I come in?" Jake asked.

I opened the door, still sitting down.
He shut it back and sat beside me.
"I'm sorry this happened Kinley." Jake said.
I just nodded.
I bursted into tears and Jake hugged me.

I hugged back and cried.
My heart is broken and shattered.
And it hurts. Bad.
"Here," Jake said pulling away and handing me a tissue.
"Thanks." I said smiling and wiping my eyes.

I can't do this anymore with Carl.
I hugged Jake and got up. I opened the door and walked into our room. Not ours anymore. I grabbed my bag and packed all of my stuff. Carl was sitting on the floor crying but I didn't give a crap.

After I was done I walked downstairs and went into the bathroom. Jake was freaking out. He was in the living room. I locked the bathroom door and got dressed. I put on jeans, a black tank top, converse, and a jacket. I put my hair in a high ponytail and walked back out.

I walked straight towards the door.
I felt arms around me and pull me down. Carl.

"Don't leave." Carl said.
"Why would you care when you go kiss some random girl when you have one." I said crying again.
"I'm sorry Kinley. I don't know what I was thinking." Carl said.
I shook my head.
"If you really cared about me you wouldn't have done that." I said crying less.

"I care about you Kinley." Carl said crying.
"YOU DONT GET IT CARL!" I yelled at him crying.
"YOU CANT EXPECT ME TO STILL WANT TO BE WITH YOU WHEN YOU KISSED ANOTHER GIRL YOU DIDNT EVEN KNOW!" I screamed at him crying my eyes out.

Carl was too.
"I can't be without you Kinley." Carl said looking into my eyes.
I shook my head.
"Your not getting it and never will." I said opening the door and walking away.

"Please Kinley!" Carl yelled crying.
"No leave me freakin alone!" I yelled not stopping.
Carls arms wrapped around me and held me tight.
"I swear! PUT ME DOWN! Before I freakin kill you." I yelled at him.

He shook his head.
I elbowed him hard and kicked him in the you know where.
He fell on the ground.
"Never ever touch me again." I said crying.
"I love you Kinley. Please I can't loose you again." Carl said crying.

He stood up and moaned from his pain.
I shook my head.
"Why do you love me Carl? You kissed another girl without even thinking about me and how I would feel." I said calm and crying.

"I love you because your the most beautiful girl in the universe. I love you and everything about you. Yes I kissed another girl, at least I didn't keep it from you. I did think of you when I kissed her, I thought it was you. That's why I kissed her. Once I saw it wasn't her, I cried right there at that moment. I love you Kinley and always will." Carl said crying.

I didn't know what to say or do.
"Say something," Carl said crying.
I have no idea what came out of me.
I kissed Carl.
I smashed my lips into his.
He kissed back.

I pulled away and walked back inside.
I walked upstairs and went into Carls room and shut the door and locked it.

What did I just do?
