"where are you going this late Bokuto?"
"oh Haruki-San invited me to this party downtown, he said there'll be cakes and barbecue! See you later mom" Bokuto rushed out the doors and ran to the nearest bus stop.
"he's been running off like that for a week. I wonder who's this Haruki" Bokuto's mom worriedly spoke after watching his son run off.
..
"hey, you're early"
"oh, I didn't check the time. Forgot my phone at home" Bokuto scratched the back of his neck and smiled.
"oh that's okay, come in. The party's packed already anyway" Haruki wrapped his arm around the boy and walked him in a mansion of a rich friend his dad works with who often throws parties.
"woah, so much people" Bokuto looked around and gasped.
"hey there Bokuto!" A tall blonde guy yelled from the back.
"oh Itsuki? From the Assassins?" Bokuto turned his head to see who was calling out his name.
"hey you! I didn't see you since that game I obviously crushed! So how are you man" Itsuki placed his arm and relaxed it on Bokuto's shoulder, taking advantage of their difference in height.
Jeez. I know he's tall but we're not that close that he could lay his huge and heavy arm on me.
"oops sorry there Bokuto, force of habit hehe"
"oh its alright"
...
"Bokuutttoooooo"
"Haruo?"
"you're hereeee! I thought you forgot about me" Haruo ran to his direction and hugged him so tight, they almost fell down to the cold ground.
"oi. Be careful" Haruki from behind said in a cold tone. Bokuto had fun, mingling and partying. But mostly, Haruki would often stick to him and steal him from others.
"there's the meat pub, go ahead and eat"
"okay!" Bokuto and Haruki spent most of their time together, not minding the time and hours they would go and run off do something Bokuto has never done before. And this has been going on for weeks. The boy was too distracted with going on expensive trips and food feasts that he often forgot to call Akaashi.
Akaashi's POV
It's been days since Bokuto last called. I have no news about him and he hasn't contacted my mom either. It's not like I miss him or anything..
Okay maybe I do. He's the first friend that was there for me when I woke up from a coma.
I wonder what's keeping him from calling me..
I miss you Bokuto.
