Jedi Master Plo Koon had his hands resting on the holo-map, he was bent over, studying the anatomy of the building he was about to enter.

"Back here again?" a strong voice whispered behind him. Plo glanced back to see Mace Windu, the dark skinned Jedi came closer, crossing his arms, "The council has called a meeting, they wish to advise us before we go down there."

Plo nodded his head, turning to look out of the giant ship, blue and black hyperspace swirled outside, closing his masked eyes Plo stood still. Lost in thought.

"And you." Plo said, not turning to the Jedi, "What do you think of our mission?"

Mace placed a strong hand on his pointed chin thinking hard, "I believe that this must be done, we could finally end the war. But..." he frowned, furrowing his brows, "Is this the right way? I must say that I am no fan of bounty hunters, I'd rather stay as far away as possible." he also turned to stare out into the space ahead, "But that obviously isn't going to happen."

"Sirs." a clone approached them, stiffly said. "We are about to emerge from hyperspace, the Council is awaiting, and we your orders sir."

Plo nodded, finally turning around, closely behind Mace, they went into a shadowed room.

Rex dozed in the night, the pain in his ribs was becoming unbearable, he pushed it aside and leaned against the tree he was sitting by.

He jumped as the leaves rustled, he gripped a root tightly, then surged to his feet. His hands were shaking but he refused to look at them.

He watched as Echo ran into the clearing, Ahsoka came up somewhere on Rex's left.

"Any news?" she asked, her eyes bright.

Echo sighed, and took off his helmet, "The Clan Leader won't take us in."

"What?!" Rex exclaimed, "Not even our wounded?" he deflated when Echo shook his head.

"Wha- why?" Fives growled, stalking up. "What have we done?"

Echo sighed, "They are scared of us, and that's the truth."

Ahsoka groaned, placing her head in her hands then started pacing, "So where do we go now?" she rambled, still pacing.

Rex slumped back down to the ground, wincing. "We do what we always do." he looked up at the midnight sky, then closed his eyes, "We wait."

Anakin looked back at the tree that the Clan Leader sat inside, then glanced at where Skyliar had run off, she had told him to wait, on what? He scowled, and looked back at the tree.

"You know, I heard that if you stare at that tree long enough it might do something." a young voice teased behind him.

Whirling around, Anakin was looking down at a small dark curly headed boy with curved horns. His olive skin looked silver in the night, his baby face was twisted in a grin. Anakin raised a brow.

"Uh kid, isn't it like past your bedtime or something?"

The kid scowled and opened his mouth to speak, when Skyliar rushed out, a heavy leather bag slung over her shoulder, a few pouches were tied tightly across her chest and on her belt, a dark green cloak gracefully sat on her shoulders, something about the way she scowled at the kid made Anakin think she knew him.

"Atticus!" she hissed, swiftly walking up and harshly grabbing the kid's shoulder, "What are you doing? Go back inside!"

"Wha-! No! Where are you going?" he asked, looking over at Anakin, then swiftly back at Skyliar, his dark eyebrows gnarled down. "Who is he?"
