The Big Day

When me and Kylo stepped on First Order Navy ship, everyone watched us.

They always had, but this was different. They now saw the new Supreme Leader and his Empress.

Kylo took us straight to his chambers.

I showed him everything that happened on the island well, almost everything. I kept out a few parts that would only cause distress and distrust on my part. I stayed with him that night and I slept in his arms. I tried to, at least.

I dreamt about Phasma. How I felt her death and in my dream, it was me dying. I sat straight up, panting. She was dead and it broke a piece of my heart. I traced Kylo face to keep my mind off of it. I traced every scar, every curve and every freckle I could see.

I didn't go back to sleep that night and instead looked in his closet. Someone had put new clothes for him in here, nothing could've survived the downfall of The Supremacy.

His clothes only filled one side, I thought it was strange. I felt the cabinets of the empty side, it had collected dust. I felt my ring on my finger and tried to imagine my clothes filling up this large space.

His new quarters were triple the size of his chambers on The Finalizer and The Supremacy. It hit me right then, we were the new leaders of the First Order. I both dreaded and lived for this moment. There was so much to do.

I walked as quietly as I could to find any sort of tablet or paper I could write stuff down on. I finally found a piece of paper and a pen. I wrote down the things Kylo needed to do in order to gain the respect he needs from all the First Order ships. As I was writing, I took off my sparkling red ring.

I started writing a separate list of things for the wedding. We haven't exactly had time to talk about it, but I knew Kylo inside and out. I knew what he liked and what he hated.

"What are you doing?" I look up, startled. I gasp, putting a hand over my heart.

I was so lost in writing I hadn't heard him open the door to his bedroom.

You scared me. I scold him.

"You are leaving?" He took small steps forward.

No. I gave him a strange look.

Then I looked down at what I was doing. I was writing down on a paper, in the middle of the night. And had taken my ring off.

Oh! My darling, I was writing stuff down for the wedding. Here, look.

I pass the paper off to him.

Wedding Ideas
Dress.
Honeymoon...
Flowers? Kylo hates flowers.
Reception here.
Knights of Ren need to come.
Hux walk me down the isle? Maybe not.

Those are just some ideas. We don't even have to have a big wedding, just something simple.

"Do you want a big wedding?" He looked up at me from the chair he sat in.

I think it should be something heard across the galaxy.

"And that's why I'm marrying you. You know what I'm thinking." He hooked his arm around my waist and put me on his lap. I held onto his shoulders as he read off some ideas he had.

A couple hours pass and we were off in our own directions. Kylo went to command fear and respect into those he would be working with. He told me the Knights would be arriving soon and wanted to see me.

The thing with them, is that they almost share a mind with Kylo. Whatever he wants protected, they protect. Whatever infatuation he had, they also had. Which just happened to be me. They loved me but not as Kylo did. It was a good thing, they were good company.

So, I headed down to the landing pad and waited for their shuttle. Kylo had sent for a new outfit for me, I was to also command respect and fear as his Empress of Evil.

I showed the Knights to their rooms, which weren't far from Kylo's chambers

I showed the Knights to their rooms, which weren't far from Kylo's chambers. I told them where to find Kylo and they left me. I explored the First Order Navy ship as I had on the other ships I had lived on.

I had been walking around for two hours and was definitely lost. That was until I saw a certain ginger. Hux!

He turned around and saw me. "Empress Storm, how good to see you return to us well."

It's nice to see you too, Hux. Now show me what we're working with.

He showed me the bridge and even introduced me to many of the generals on board. He told them of my many spoken languages, though you won't get much out of me. They laughed at that.

I saw in their minds they were nervous to speak to me and didn't want to get on my bad side.

I excused myself and walked around until I got lost again. I found a bridge that looked at the bottom of the ship, much like I had found on The Finalizer.

Darling, where are you? I heard Kylo's voice come into my head. I also loved this new nickname.

I might be lost on the ship. I'm on a bridge. I tell him.

Do you think you can manage to find your way back to our chambers?

Our chambers? Those were Kylo's chambers.

Storm?

Yes, I will be there soon.

I asked an officer where I was and how to get where I was going. He offered to walk me and I let him. I saw into his mind, he wasn't afraid of me. He wasn't afraid of anything.

Officer Inki, what scares you the most? I ask as we walk.

"I guess, nothing. I have seen just about everything in this line of work. Why what scares you?"

Right now? This ship. I've don't know if I'll ever find my way around here.

"You will. It took me a year to memorize the whole thing. I've walked every inch of it myself."

Really?

"I'm happy to show you around, whenever you want." We turn the corner and I saw Kylo and the Knights. "And here we are. Let me know if I can help you in any way, Empress Storm."

Thank you again, Officer Inki.
