The Island

We finally came out of hyperspace and landed the ship. Rey walked out of the ship and went to find Luke. I could feel him, but something was off. I knew what was wrong and waited for Rey to confirm it whenever she got back.

In the meantime, I heard Chewie around the ship. He was fixing what was broken, however this ship was constantly broken. "Chewie! Chewie!" I heard silence before heavy footsteps. He looked at me.

"Chewie, let me help." I practically begged.

He roared at me, unhappily.

"You know I know this ship like the back of my hand. Plus it will take you forever to fix everything."

He roared again, this time in my face.

"I know you don't trust me, but you can keep my hands tied the entire time." I persuaded. "I won't try anything to escape. I swear."

He thought about it before shrugging his shoulders. He untied me from the table and gave me the job of giving him the tools he needed. It beat being tied up inside. We did this for a while until Rey came back.

She held a confused look on her face, "He threw his lightsaber over the cliff."

"He what?" I ask her.

"I held out his lightsaber and he threw it over his shoulder." She did the action herself. "And now he's locked himself in a rock hut."

"Oh my gosh." Chewie kept me tied up until we got to the top of the stairs.

Rey knocked, "Go away!" Luke yelled.

Chewie knocked down the door and growled at him. Rey walked in behind him, I stood outside until I knew when to make myself known.

"Chewie what are you doing here?"

He roared, Rey translated. "He said you're coming back with us."

"How did you find me?"

"Long story. We'll tell you on the Falcon."

"Falcon?" Chewie whined softly and I hit the back of my head against the rock hut. "Wait. Where's Han?"

I walked into the hut, scarred face, and all. "Whatever happened to a 'Jedi's weapon deserves more respect?' That's what you always said."

"Nova?"

"It's Storm now. I can tell you all about it on the Falcon. Let's go." I urge him and walk outside the hut.

"Where's Han!" He yelled.

"Kylo!" I say between my teeth. "He tricked me and Han into believing he could change. He held his lightsaber out for us to take, and ran it through Han! I thought I could bring him back, but he is further in than I thought."

"There no light left in Kylo Ren. He's only getting stronger. The First Order will control all the major systems within weeks. We need your help. We need the Jedi Order back. We need Luke Skywalker."

"You don't need Luke Skywalker."

"Did you hear a word I just said?"

"You think, what? I'm going to walk out with a laser sword and face down the whole First Order? What did you think was going to happen here? You think I came to the most unfindable place in the galaxy for no reason at all? Go away."

"I'm not leaving without you!" Rey shouted at him.

Rey. I grab her arm. Here's what you're going to do. Follow him around the island, go where he goes. Sit where he sits, eventually, he will be so annoyed he will do just about anything to make you go away.

"How do you know this will work?"

How do you think I convinced him to train me and Ben at the same time? It will work, trust me. And apparently she did.

She followed Luke around the island, to show she was here for a reason. For the Resistance.

While she did that Chewie slowly started to trust me again, he only tied me up at night. It was progress and I was thankful for it.

She did the same thing the next day. Only difference was I felt connected to her when she heard the whispers of the Jedi before. And I felt the light in me, more than I ever had in years. But it was a fleeting moment. Then I felt Rey again, her determination to get Luke to the Resistance, her fear of the force. Luke wouldn't train her. I got up from my place sitting down,

"Looks like I'm back to do Luke's job."
