Drew's head ached from the night before; he drank his emotional pain away until he blacked out. Memories were elapsed from his mind, but surprisingly he was safe in his bed. His buddy from the bar probably dragged him home after his shift.

After taking an Advil, Drew started cleaning around his room. Memories of Nina nagging him for always leaving his dirty clothes on the floor flooded his brain. He never noticed how much he took her for granted. He expected for one day, she would leave because of her soulmate instead she was brutally murdered by his closest friend.

He grabbed the remote control and turned on the TV to drown the silence in his room. Opening his cabinet, Drew ripped down the endless newspaper, throwing them into the garbage. He learned his lesson last night and decided to respect Lucas's wishes. Drew was pulled from his thoughts when he heard what was being reported on the TV.

"This morning in Wallsberry studio, a body was found belonging to Nina Burke. Many questions are surrounding this interesting case. Authorities are considering her death to be a potential suicide at the moment," The report said.

Drew exhaled, continuing his dismantled of the map he kept hidden away. His door opened, revealing Imogen standing perfectly in her black yarn sweater hugging her small frame.

"Couldn't stay away longer can you," Drew said.

"You were dodging my calls last night," Imogen sighed, clearly distressed from the uneasiness the night before.

"Yeah, well I was busy trying to forget watching my girlfriend getting murdered while I stood like an idiot," Drew said, keeping his eyes glued on his map.

Imogen scratched her head and stuffed her other hand into her pocket. "Why didn't you tell me?" Imogen asked, wishing the boy would confide in her.

"I already dropped a huge bomb on you about Lucas and adding the fact that he killed my girlfriend would have made it worse," Drew said, walking past Imogen accidentally hitting in the shoulder in the process.

Imogen chewed on her bottom lip, trying to recreate what Drew had sat through. However, she couldn't imagine Lucas hurting anyone let alone killing someone. He couldn't hurt a fly even with his increasing strength. But everyone claimed Lucas was the culprit and Drew saw it with his own two eyes; so she had to believe him right?

"He called me, Drew," Imogen blurted.

Apart of her couldn't accept the truth especially after receiving the call from her soulmate. He couldn't be evil if he still called me, right? If he was really gone, I wouldn't mean anything to him like when I drank the potion. He's still savable and I have to do everything in my power to return him to us.

Drew stood still as a wall, his eyes bulging from their eye sockets in shock.

"What?"

Imogen nervously pushed her hair behind her pierced ear and continuously licked her lips. "Lucas called me the other night," she repeated, turning to face him and waited for his reaction.

Drew ruffled his hands through his hair, messing the fragile curls in the process. "Okay. . .What he say?"

"Technically nothing, but it was him," Imogen said, causing Drew to send her the 'are you kidding me' look. "I asked Robert's witch to track the trace from the call and it came from Virginia."

"Yeah, where he's probably murdering half the state," Drew scoffed, walking to his drawers. "We already talked about this, Imogen. Lucas is gone and I don't mean from this earth." A forced smile was plastered on his lips at his inappropriate joke.
