BEAST in ME

PART 2

The moment that she opened her eyes, it always felt like she was a total stranger to her own place. It seems like she awakens in a place that she had never been before.

But that was just in a split of a second. As she was totally awake, she knows that she is home. As when she is fully awake, she is finally aware of her environment. And all of her senses just suddenly activated.

She still lays down for awhile in her bed, closing her eyes and just feeling the moment as her senses has been fully activated. When satistified, she opens her eyes.

Just as humans do, she gets out of her bed and go to the bathroom, washes her face and brushes her teeth. When she is done, she gets her towel and started taking her bath.

Life has always been like that for Bea everytime that she wakes up in the morning for years. She has gotten used to it for a very long time.

For 12 years, she was living in a house together with her guardians namely Luther and Nexus. And they were the only companions that she could trust because they were the one who takes care of her.

For 12 years after leaving their first home, her life has centered on Luther and Nexus. She never really had the freedom to socialize with other people, or even gets closer to them or having the opportunity to gain a lot of friends.

Not that she doesn't want too, but it was for the best. At first, it was hard for her to understand the restrictions given to her especially when it comes to other people.

As a young and growing kid she just looks other children having friends, playing with each other and have fun while she was just observing them from afar.

But later on, she just get used to the situation. Though, there are people who tried to get close to her but the moment they showed interest, she turns them down politely. She sets the boundaries.

Day after day, she had to try her best to get used in living the world that is totally different from what she used to. And good thing Luther and Nexus were their to guide her through.

She look up to them as her real and only family. She cares so much about them because they took care of her when her parents were gone.

She was so young back then, she was so little when an unfortunate thing happened towards her parents. And until now she could still vividly remembers that moment that she lost her parents.

When her parents died, that was the saddest day of her life. She had no family left, she felt so alone. She was so young and would cry her heart out day in and day out.

Until one day, she wakes up, tired of crying, Luther and Nexus was there. They were looking at her and a smile painted on their lips saying: "Everything will be alright. You'll gonna be fine."

And those were the most and only comforting words she ever heard of from anybody. And she felt comforted and consoled somehow.

It was them, who brought her to her new home. They had to leave the place where they live with her parents. She was a bit sad at first but later on, she get used to being away from the place she first calls home.

For a week after they transfer, she would just stay in her room and would not go out. She would always cry everytime she remembers her parents.

But her guardians was so patient in giving her the comfort she needed. But it feels like their love and support wasn't good enough for her, it would not compensate the love that her parents gave.

But of course she was just so little who needs her parents, who longs for them. She was so young to understand things. Both Luther and Nexus understands that.
