BEAST in ME

PART 11

BEA POV

It has been a week since Jia sleep on my bed. And it has been a week that I have been thinking about her. Hoping that she still has my calling card and she would call. But sadly, she didn't call.

I was wondering what she is doing by now and if she is just okay. It has been raining for a week that is why Luther and Nexus doesn't want me to leave the house. So I don't have any choice but to stay on my bed for a boring week.

But today, the weather is friendly. It's a fair weather and it's a nice time to have a walk outside. I am tired of keeping myself in my room.

LUTHER: "Going out?"

He asks when he saw me going down the stairs.

BEA: "Yeah."

NEXUS: "Where are you going?"

I scratch my right eyebrow.

BEA: "To see someone."

LUTHER: "Is it about the woman you brought here a week ago?"

BEA: "Hmmm. I just want to know, how is she doing."

LUTHER: "You are not even friends. Why do you want to know?"

BEA: "I honestly don't know. I just feel like I needed to see her."

Luther and Nexus had this kind of look to each other again as if they were thinking the same thing. They are some sort of talking to each other by just the look in the eye.

LUTHER: "Be home before sunset."

I did not expect that. I know that they will allow me. But not without a lot of conversation first. I was expecting they would ask a lot of questions.

But regardless, I am happy that I don't need to explain myself.

BEA: "Thanks."

NEXUS: "Be careful."

I just nodded and left them at the living room.  I was excited as I was driving my car going to the place were Jia was having a training. I don't know where this urge of seeing her is coming from.

I take a look at my watch, it's 4:30 in the afternoon. I still have time to spare before Jia will arrived at the training facility. Their practice starts at 6:00, she might be coming at around 5:30 or 5:45. I would be there at around 5:15.

Just as I expected, I arrived at the place at 5:15. I go out of the car and ask the guard if Jia was already there inside the training area.

Good thing, she hasn't arrived yet. So, I take a sit at one of the bench beside the building and waited for Jia to come. While waiting, I busy myself reading some articles in my phone.

Then, around 5:30 in the afternoon, I saw Jia's teammates coming and going inside the building. I remember them, because I saw them when I watch their game live.

It's almost 6:00 in the evening but Jia is not yet around. But still I waited thinking that she maybe coming late. But then, 30 minutes had passed before 6:00 and I haven't seen her yet.

So I walk again at the entrance and ask the guard. But said, Jia has not arrived. Maybe she will be absent for the practice.

Instead of wasting another precious time of waiting for nothing, I decided to leave the place and just go home. Maybe, it's not yet the right time to see her again.

As I was driving, I saw a park and it is enticing me to come. So, I decided to stay for awhile and not to go home yet. It's dark already but the whole park is well lighted.
