Chapter 10: Almost dead.

Victorias POV:

Mom wanted me to get her Chinese food for tonight, it's right around the corner of our house. Here in Santa Monica everything is close, which is a huge advantage. As I cross the street I hear a roar of an engine, must be a car. I see to my left and as I walk to cross the street the car almost hits me, making me scream at the top of my lungs. I stand there in the middle of the cross walk scared. My eyes are huge, my throat burns, and my body is frozen.

My phone buzzes, I'm scared to look.

Anonymous: Sorry my car can get a little out of control. But it was a fun game, almost hitting you. Your lucky you didn't get hit.

The anonymous person was in the car? Dammit Victoria you didn't even notice the face.

I throw my phone to the ground, making it shatter all over the ground. I walk away, cars beeping for me to move on. Did they not just see that I almost got hit? I walk up to the chinese restaurant. I need to call mom to pick me up.

I walk up to the front to ask for a phone.

"May I please use your phone?" I ask the lady that seems that today is not her day.

"Sure." She hands me a hands free phone.

I dial my moms phone.

"Hello?" Moms asks.

"Mom, can you please come get me?" I ask, bitting my nails.

"Why? Your right around the corner can't you just walk?" She asks.

"No, now please come get me." I yell hanging up the phone.

Everybody's looking at me with confusion on their face.

"You know you have two legs that can walk it's self home in two minutes." Mom says in a mad voice.

"Oh! I'm sorry that I almost got hit by a car." I put my hands up in surrender.

"Well nothing happened to you so your fine. Why did you call me from the Chinese restaurant, where's your phone?" She asks, knitting her eyebrows in confusion.

"When I almost got hit I got scared and accidentally dropped my phone, it shattered all over the ground." I'm lying but I don't want my mom getting into the whole wierd Anonymous text thing.

"Well, we will have to go buy you a new one. Lets go now so we can just deal with it and eat some Chinese." She walks up to our car.

"Okay." She turns on the ignition and we drive off.

"Thanks mom." I look at my new IPhone in hand, the Iphone 6.

"Your welcome honey but please take care of it. That dawm little thing cost a ton." She chuckles.

"No problem." I give her a kiss on the cheek.

I download twitter on my phone, I need my twitter and also my Instagram. As soon as they are downloaded, I head to twitter fisrt, I check my inbox messages. There's a ton of people with their #wc(women crush) about me, how sweet. I see one particular message that makes me smile.

Twitter Daniel: Vick I keep calling you but you won't answer. Call me or send me a text here on twitter. I have to tell you something!

Oh, my lord Daniel I'm not even seeing you and I'm already picturing you in my head with your shirt off.

"You okay honey? Your drooling." Mom laughs.

Was I really drooling?

I wipe my mouth and only to find actual drool, oh gosh I'm gross.

"Shut up mom!" I yell.

"You drooling about a boy, aren't you?" She asks with a cocked eyebrow.

"No and stop getting into my business. Resume to your driving." I focus back to my phone.

I love my mom but she can just get into stuff when she wants to.

I got Daniels number from Levi, she was a little annoyed but I convinced her with my sad voice through the phone. I remembered Levis phone for a long time so I got it down in my mind.

The phone rings.

"Daniel what's up." I say.

"Hey preciosa, I have something really Important to say." He sighs.

"Well, come out with it, dream boy." I plead him.

"Dream boy? Don't call me that." He chuckles.

"Then what would you like me to call you?" Ask.

"Sexy Daniel."

"No I like dream boy a lot better." I nod my head.

"Uhg." He groans.

"Come out with the important thing you want to tell me." I throw one hand up in the air, although Daniel can't see it.

"Okay. I like chocolate." He laughs through the phone.

"Everybody likes chocolate and your stupid for thinking that was Important to tell me." I put one hand on my hip, a little irradiated but I love his teasing.

"I'm just kidding Hermosa. I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out with Joey, Mario, Estefan, and I later tomorrow?" I says.

I smile,"Shure, where we going?" I ask curious.

"You'll see." He says and I can already picture him with a smirk on his face.

"Oh and who's Estefan?" I try to pronounce his name.

"He's a friend of mine he goes to a different school though but he's cool." He says.

"Okay cool see you tomorrow and remember it's a school night tomorrow so  no coming home late, Shaw." I say in a commanding voice.

"Alright alright alright alright, Collin. Good night sleep tight and dream about me because you know I'm sexy." He hangs up.

Did he just do the matthew mcconaughey thing? Hahahah

I look at my phone, I'm smiling. I'll probably dream about Daniel.
