Chapter 18: There was a reason.

I'm woken up by a pair of hands moving me around, I groan not wanting to get out of this- surprisingly comfortable hospital bed. I turn around and find my own mother with a huge smile on her face, she's still moving me around to get up.

"Stop I'm tired." I slap her away.

"Honey, get ready. You have to be out from the hospital today." She turns me over.

"Fine." I get up and check my leg, a huge scar appears. It hurts but not as much as it did yesterday.

"You hungry?" Mom asks while helping me put on my shoes, I'm still in my gown.

"Yes and I don't think you have to question me if I'm hungry. The answer is always 'yes'." I cock an eyebrow.

"Okay okay whatever let's go." She takes my bag.

As we walk down the corridor I spot someone I don't want to see. That disgusting bastard is one big piece of shit. Mom stops in front of the doctor. Wtf mom don't stop keep going.

"Hello Mr. Aaron I want to ask if everything is fine with my daughter?" She asks.

"Everything is really really, good. She's excellent and in good condition." He smiles, he looks towards me but I roll my eyes.

"Thank you so much." Mom shakes hands with him.

We walk away but a hand wraps around my wrist, just like last night. I turn around and find a happy, hot yet disgusting guy look at me.

"I'll see you sometime, beautiful. I hope I can have my hands wrap around your beautiful, sexy and delicious body." He winks.

I yank my wrist out of his grip and slap him in the face. I walk away, well limp because of my leg, away from him with my chest held high. I don't look back, I just carrie on.

Mom's driving.

I'm in my phone.

"So, I was thinking we should eat chinese." Mom says.

"Sure." I shrug.

"Okay, then." She shrugs too.

"Where's Drake?" I ask putting down my phone on my lap.

"He's at home, a little upset." She says.

"Why? What happened?" Did something bad happen to Drake? Nah, I think he's good.

"Abby broke up with him." She says in a soft voice.

Wait what? Oh that bitch Abby can not hurt my brother.

"How? Why? When? Where?" I know I'm crazy but I do really care about my brother.

"I don't know, she just did." She shrugs.

"Well, that Abby is going to get some later, nobody hurts my baby brother." I look out the window and I'm serious about Abby, I kinda new from the start she wasn't a good person.

Both mom and I walk into the Chinese restaurant, the smell of fried rice hits my nose making me drool for food.

"Ms. Areos, welcome. Right this way." The lady walks us to a table.

Wait Is someone waiting for mom?

And of course I see the person who is waiting for mom and I, Dad or as I like to say Ryan Collin-the stranger. I roll my eyes, he looks at me with a small smile plastered his face, his bright blue eyes gleaming,  and his straight pearl white teeth smile. I sit down on my seat not looking at him.

"Honey, we all need to talk." Mom takes my hand.

"Nah I'm good I'm only here for the food." I look at my menu ignoring my dad that's right in front of me.

"Do not be rude, I didn't teach you to be like this. Now, we all need to talk, now!" Mom whispers loudly.

"Okay go on with it." I glare at my dad.

He clears his throat.

"I'm going to tell you why I left. I already told your mother and I hope that you can understand." He looks down at his hands.

"I don't have all day." I roll my eyes, leaning back down on my chair.

"I had a wife before your mother, her name is Elliott. This was one year ago before I got married with your mother. I divorced Elliott but she turned out to be pregnant but at the time when we were divorced I didn't know and I left just like that. I then met your mother and of course I had both You and Drake.

"I do have or had another daughter named, Riley," He pauses and looks down at his hands once again,"She was murdered.  I needed to find this culprit. It got a little dangerous and I didn't come back because I didn't want this person to come after you guys, that's why I stayed away for a while but I finally or the police finally caught the person who murdered my own daughter and I couldn't bare to know he would've killed one of my other children too." His eyes start to water.

What?

"Then why didn't you at least contact us?" I ask, tears almost filling my eyes.

"Because this person was very good at hacking into everything and I didn't even want to contact you guys because he would of found out where you lived." He says.

I nod my head.

"I-I don't know what to say." I shake my head, I judged to much and now I feel guilty.

Riley, who was my half sister was murdered. It hurts to know that my dad had a child killed.

"You don't have to say anything I'm just glad that I get to see your beautiful face." He smiles taking my hand.

"I'm sorry I judged and I'm sorry I pushed you away, I guess i was so mad that I had to let it out." I wipe one tear that streams down my face with my hand. I look at mom who is looking at me a sad smile. I'm glad I get to see both people that mean so much to me.

"It's fine baby girl, I was wondering if maybe tomorrow I can hang out with you and Drake?" He asks.

"Yeah of course, does Drake know your here?" I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

"Yes, I had a talk with him and all things are good." He chuckles.

"Okay cool." I nod my head with a smile.

He gets up from his chair and walks over to me, I get up as well. I hug him tight, he hugs me tight back. I look into his bright blue eyes and kiss his cheek. I missed you daddy. We break apart and he kisses my forhead and leaves, women looking at my dad with awe. What can I say I have the most handsomest daddy ever and a beautiful mom too.

I turn back to mom who has a bright tomato face, I smirk.

"You jealous mom?" I ask crossing my arms over my chest.

"Jelous of what?" She asks with a confused face.

"Mom don't be dum, I can see that your Jelous, many women are looking at my dad." I laugh.

"Shut up and let's eat I'm hungry." She points to me and looks back down to her menu.

Oh mom, I love you so much.
