part 3: Strange Encounters I: A Wife And A Sibling

Note: Most of this will occur in the past, alternating between Olympus and The New York Police Department.

New York Police Department Detective Bureau, Special Victims: Demi-gods Unit)When the Kids started disappearing). Will told from the point of view of New partner Madison White.

Madison White POV
My superior officer Bureau Chief Kathleen Cole called me into her office to brief me on a case.
Apparently there had been several breaking-ins and assaults over a period of ten years.
The victims were severely beaten or even killed, the building ransacked and then their wards were taken away to "safety" by a man or vigilante simply known as the SHADOW. My job was to find him and bring him in for questioning.
I would never forget that assignment as it led me to begin a personal manhunt for him because he was someone I knew from my past...., Precisely the Battle Of Manhattan. Let me clear this quagmire up for you, I know about the Battle Of Manhattan as I am not your average Mortal rather I am a clear-sighted Mortal, thus I am no stranger to the Mythological World and it's fantastic beings as well as
creatures.
I am getting ahead of myself here, more on that later.
FLASHBACK
The Assignment
I and my squad got information that the SHADOW was spotted(Note: he had already been all over the Country now and had just returned to his home turf) in the Manhattan area looking for demi-gods.
Acting on that lead, we had a stake out on a warehouse where he would show up.
It was a place where demi-gods were rumoured to be kept, so definitely he would definitely come, little did we were walking into a trap.
Before we knew it we swarmed by hefty looking men, to the ordinary eye looked like body builders employed as guards but due to my nature, looking at them I knew these were Cyclops. Thus, Mortal titanium bullets would not work on them hence I could only trust my dagger which was hidden in my jacket.
When they tried to capture us I lost it and threw dagger my into one of the Cyclops eyes, he turned to golden dust, I retrieved it and went on a slaying spree stabbing anyone who came near me. Just then SHADOW arrived on the chaotic scene, with a grin that I knew all too well he joined me in the slaughter fest.
Afterwards, we rounded up all the demi-gods intent on finding them homes but he said he would take to their respective Camps.
The word "Camp" shook me to core, it reminded me of the Battle Of Manhattan, it reminded me of him; Perseus Achilles Jackson.
With shaky hands and my breath in my throat, I pulled off his hood. There he was before me as I remembered him:

3. Heart shaped face
4. Oval lips
5. Untamed jet-black hair with a grey streak
6. Broad Chest
7. And mesmerizing Sea green eyes
He looked the same as the day we first met had not aged a day, I could tell he was immortal god-level because he still looked 16insh.
I did the first thing that came to my mind which was kiss him, to which he also responded in kind to the surprise cum irritation of some members of my team(especially the ones who wanted to "date" or more like attain me as a trophy). The look on their faces told me they were going to tell on me to our boss, but I did not care. If asked to explain then I would.
Coming down from the euphoria, I told him that I had to bring him in for questioning regarding his activities as a vigilante. He agreed, coming in willingly without a fight.
Flashback End

Present
We were sitting in my boss's office as I insisted that he would not be interrogated like a common criminal. While waiting, I fished out my wedding ring and had him replace it on my finger.
He did not carry his own on him and I understood why, He probably threw it away so as not entertain sudden rapid fire questions from his family and friends on why he was suddenly wearing a wedding ring when they were fighting a damned war.
He immediately used his powers to craft one for himself to my delight, which I immediately put on his finger. We snuck away to the resident Police chapel to retake our wedding vows, aided by the chaplain.
An hour later, I could see that he was jittery, I asked him and he expressed his fear of the outcome of the questioning, maybe by the end of which he could he be well behind bars.
I assured him that that would never happen and that I would protect his secret(if anyone tried to harm him in any way, they would have me to deal with!).
Kathleen Cole POV
We had had many breaking-ins across the country in the last ten years, victims were badly beaten or killed and their charges were taken away. Throughout all of this, one name the "SHADOW" remained constant.
I had to find him as my job was on the line, so I detailed Madison J White to hunt him down.
Presently, I was in my office observing the situation going on outside. Some members of Madison's team tried to book the suspect with whom she was standing side by side and even holding hands!!, I mean this was a criminal!(a conduct heavily frowned at in our profession).
As looked at the unfolding scene in front of me, I saw that she absolutely refused to have them manhandle him then throw in him a cell.
Intrigued by her sudden fierce display of protectiveness over this man who was supposed to be suffering for his nefarious deeds, I wanted to see what she would do next.
So, I instructed that they be brought to my office while I watched them from an empty cubicle close by while wearing a cap and dark glasses to hide my face.
Sitting in my office she brought out a ring and had him put it on her ring finger, then leaning towards him she whispered softly into his hear and he in turn conjured up a ring of his own which she excitedly put on his finger. Looking both ways to see if anyone else was watching, they snuck out of the office to the Police chapel, I followed them, what I witnessed left me stumped. The wedding match played on the speakers, the two of them stood before the chaplain retaking their wedding vows.
This was the height of all surprises as it took the cake, I had to find out what was happening.

Shaking off her surprise she stepped out from behind the pew when the chaplain gave the ok to kiss the bride which they happily did oblivious of whoever was watching. Kathleen Warner Cole escorted them back to her office to get some answers.

We stepped back into my office took our seats, and the questioning began.

Me: What is your real name?
Shadow: my real name is Percy Achilles Jackson
Me: What is your
date of birth?
Shadow: August 18th 1993
Me: Are you a demi-god?
Shadow: I was once, but now I am not, I am now a god.
Me: If you were once a demi-god, who is your Mortal mother?
Shadow: My Mortal mother is Sally Jackson.
That surprised me, I knew this Sally Jackson very well, I did show it because I really wanted to know who his father was. So I asked the question holding my breath for the answer.
Me: Who is your father?
Shadow: My father is Poseidon, god of the Seas, Earthshaker, Master of Horses, and Stormbringer.

The things that caught my attention were:
1. His father being Poseidon
2. He was or would like to think of himself as originally being a demi-god.
3.His mother being Sally Jackson
4. His date of birth, August 18th 1993
5. He just got married to my surbudinate right in front of me.
Making up my mind, I came to one firm conclusion, the person sitting right in front of me was my brother because I was born on the same day just after him.
Someone named Anake had told me the truth.....
Firstly, I was adopted by my current parents the Coles'
Secondly, I was a demi-god, my father is Poseidon and my mother is Sally Jackson meaning that Perseus Achilles Jackson is my brother
She said mom was willing to take the risk to raise us both, but something was planned for my brother in future, she was convinced by Poseidon to give me up for adoption to protect me as they both did not want to lose two children at the same time, that I understood.
NOW
Perseus Achilles Jackson was my brother and I needed to keep an eye on him, I would not let him out my sight ever again because I had just found him after many years and I was not going to lose him again.
To further that objective, since he had joined the Detective Bureau after 18months of being a recruit, I partnered him with his wife who would monitor him whenever I could not. He did say anything, however, I could tell he was happy.
I would meet Mom and Dad in time, but for now I would get to know my big brother plus hear how he and Madison met then got married initially.
Hopefully, this would be a new beginning for our family.
