WHEN SHE WAS A YOUNG GIRL, AURORA REYES ADEN WAS VISITED BY AN ANGEL."Do not fear me, child," the Angel said to Aurora.
Her angel was made of light and goodness, it's voice like a comforting bed of roses, sweet and wondrous. The Angel was plainly divine, a celestial being too pure for human perception.
She went to Sunday school and to church every week and she knew all her Bible stories.
She was not afraid.
The young girl's eyes widened. "I'm not the next Virgin of Guadalupe, am I?" Her abuela always told Aurora she was special whenever she visited from her Very Important Job in España. She did not doubt the Angel was true.
"No, Aurora," the Angel laughed, "I have come here to bless you with knowledge. A...secret."
"I can keep a secret!" Aurora exclaimed excitedly.
She thought of all the secrets she was keeping; for Papa's magic birthmark just like hers, to her tia Giselle's lost carriage, her and her best friend's secret spot in the woods, her crush on her best friend's pretty cousin, and even where Luna was hiding her birthday present.
"Do I have a mission from God himself?"
"Your time will come soon, but you must be prepared now. You must have faith in Their plan for you."

The Moon will Eclipse
The Sun will Dawn
Life and Death
Truest Blood will Ever BindWhile Aurora knew she was a clever girl, she could not make sense of the Angel's riddle, despite thinking very hard about it.
"You may not understand it now," the Angel seemed to read her mind, or her facial expression at the least. Probably easy with it's many eyes, but that was besides the point. "The greatness you will bring to the world has no bounds, Aurora Elena Reyes Labonair. Yet, it will always be your choice. Your free will remains yours no matter what you choose, your blood will stay true."
Even if the Angel was made of only light, Aurora could strangely read their emotions, their tone said it all. The riddle and kind words were enough to cause her to worry about her fate. "What will happen to me?"
"You will face trials and vast pain, but what you will become will be worth it all."
"What if I forget?"
Could the Angel write the riddle down on a post-it note or something?
"You'll remember when the time is right."

Rory led the way out of the Abattoir, laughing and smiling as bright as the sun, without a care in the world. She was in love. Again. She still couldn't believe it. This was the true start of a new life, their family. She was filled with light, pure light. Klaus was looking at her with the sweetest grin she had ever seen on his face, their hands intertwined tightly, perfectly.
