continuing on from last chapter . this is also going to be short btw.
as the machine beeped it captured imogene's families and friends attention.
"w-what's wrong? what's going on?" kairi stutters, worried.
everyone in that room new what it meant they just didn't want to be the one to tell him.
"come on.." mattia softly said as he placed a hand on his shoulder. "let's get some air."
"not until somebody tells me what it means!"
suddenly, nurses and doctors barge into the room. "you guys need to leave!" a nurse said pointing to the door and they listened.
kairi watched as they began to do CPR on imogene.
his whole body was shaking. mattia still had an arm around him to comfort kairi and he shh'd him.
"she's going to make it, kai. don't worry."
the next minute multiple nurses and doctors left imogene's room with bits sweat on their foreheads.
"i-i'm so sorry but imogene didbt make it."
after the nurse said that kairi cut off all hearing. it was like a loud high pitched sound was buzzing in his ear as his vision began to become dizzy and the feeling of him about to throw up came closer and closer.
"sir?! sir?! are you okay?"
the next minute kairi was on the floor.
he'd passed out from the loss of the person he loved most.
