"that's amazing!" kairi smiles into the phone.

he was on facetime with imogene and he'd just told her that he was at a hotel in canada and asked what high school she attends.

to kairi's luck he's going to the same one as her.

"listen," kairi begins. "i don't want to meet you in school, in front of all the kids so since we're making our talking stage private how about we meet up at a park?" he suggests.

"now?" imogene asks as she looks out her bedroom window into the pitch black sky. "kairi, it's like nine pm and it's freezing—"

"okay," he shrugs and stands up then grabbing a dark blue jacket. "bring a jacket."

imogene chuckles and shakes her head. "okay."

"great! what park?"

imogene tells him a random park which isn't to far from her house or the hotel he's staying at.

"where you off to?" mattia asks looking up from his phone.

"to meet up with imogene, bro," kairi chuckles with excitement. "i can't wait!"

"whoa, bro that's amazing! can we come?" alejandro asks walking out of the bathroom.

"no, i promised it'd be just her and i tonight."

mattia and alejandro nod. "alright, man just don't get up to anything we wouldn't do."

"seriously, tia? we all know you, you'd get with any girl in sight in the matter of seconds and wouldn't give two shits who's around."
