"You sure your up for this?"
Colette scoffed before nodding. "Believe me. After what they did to me, I won't hesitate to shoot if something happens."
Colette took the bag of guns from him and began to climb up the side of a building. After the group rejoined and ran to safety, Daryl was quick to help Rick interrogate the kid to spilling where they had taken Glenn. Kid was as annoying as can be which only made Colette even more anxious as to what was happening to Glenn. Soon as the kid squealed out his groups location, Colette and the men headed over.
Colette made it up to the roof and found a decent spot where she could see everything. Grunting, she leaned down to pull out a sniper rifle from the bag and set up on the side. Making sure it was loaded, she pointed the sniper to the opening of the building before nodding at the guys down below.
Daryl look up to see where Colette had positioned herself. His shoulders slumped in relief to see that she was okay. He sent her a nod which she returned as she took off the safety as soon as she saw the doors open. Both Daryl and Cole's gaze was focused on the main guy who seemed to be the one running things.Cole's hands tightened on the rifle as she saw the same man that kicked her like there was no tomorrow, approach close with a gun pointed at Daryl's head. She glared down at the men as they began to argue back and forth that led to everyone raising there weapons.
Rick's gaze fell onto the woman which led the leader to tilt his head up to see Colette with a gun pointed right on his head.
"Don't be stupid now." Colette muttered out as his gaze fell back onto Rick.
After the man gave Cole a second glance, he turned around to walk back into his camp with his men. Daryl lowered his crossbow before whistling which had signaled the woman to climb down.
Putting the safety back on, Cole placed the rifle back into the bag before going back down. Soon as she met with the men, she passed the bag to T-Dog who took it without a problem just as they began to walk back to where we had been previously.
"How's your stomach?"
Cole turned to Daryl who had muttered towards her. Colette's confusion grew as she stared at the side of Daryl's face. On their way to the other groups camp, he didn't even mutter a word at her, yet here he is worried about her stomach.
Cole pursed her lips as he hand fell onto her stomach. "The pain is getting bearable which is good. I uh never go to thank you for getting me out of that walker trap back there. I owe you."
Daryl was taken aback. No one has ever thanked him for the things he's done. Cole's the first to ever thank him. And it scared the shit out of him. "Don't mention it." He mumbled and walked ahead the brown eyed beauty.
