"So those of you that agree, we leave first thing in the morning."

That was all that was said last night before everyone retreated back to their tents. Half of the group couldn't sleep last night, they were worried that Jim would turn over night and attack the whole camp. It wasn't until next morning that it had turned out Jim was still breathing and everyone was back on their feet and ready to leave the mountains behind them.

Colette swung her bag over her shoulder as she approached the group who were giving out instructions.

"Those of you C.B.s, we're gonna be on channel 40. Let's keep the chatter down, okay? You got a problem. Don't have C.B., can't get a signal or anything at all, you're gonna hit your horn one time. That'll stop the Caravan. Questions?" Shane finished off by looking at the group.

Cole placed her bag by her feet just as Morales spoke up. "We're uh, not going."

"We have family in Birmingham. We want to be with our people."

Shane and Rick sighed before responding. "You go on your own, you won't have anyone to watch your back."

Morales shook his head. "We'll take the chance. I got to do what's best for my family."

"You sure?"

"We talked about it. We're sure."

Rick nodded and crouched down to the bag of guns while stealing a glance at Shane. They grabbed a hand gun, as well as half the box of ammo and handed it over to Morales. Colette's eyes wandered over to Daryl who had scoffed and leaned against his truck. She then began to watch as everyone begun to say goodbye to Morales and his family. Morales gave a small smile to Cole which made her nod in response.

"What makes you think our odds are any better?" Shane murmured at Rick as they watched Morales load his family into their car.

Cole stepped forward. "We should head out now if we want to get there by sunset."

Rick nodded in agreement and began to urge the group into the vehicles. Daryl went to climb into his truck until he saw Colette look around confused on who to ride with for a moment before hesitantly picking up her bag from the floor. He pressed his lips together as he debated on wether or not to offer the beauty a ride. Once he saw her feet begin to move, he called out her name. "Cole,"

Colette spun around to meet Daryl's eyes. "Yeah?"

"Need a ride?"

The feeling of relief hit Cole as she sighed and nodded with a smile and began to jog over to Daryl.

Daryl hid the small smirk on his face as he got into his truck and turned on the engine. Cole hopped into the truck after placing her bag in the back.
