Colette's eyes fluttered open as the sun beamed in the room through the curtains. She squinted her eyes as she tried to adjust to the light before letting a small yawn out. It had been a while since her and the group had been able to sleep well. Colette went to get up from bed but was held back by some weight on her waist. Her face scrunched up in confusion before turning her head to look behind her to see who it had belong to.
Colette's cheeks couldn't help but flush red at taking notice it belongs to Daryl Dixon.
How deep of a sleep were they both to not realize they had ended up in a spooning position last night. Colette couldn't help but smile softly at the mans relaxed face. She had grown accustomed to seeing a scowl, glare and or monotone expression on the red necks face. This face though, that she had woken up to is new, and was actually quiet refreshing. She let her eyes drift to see he looked at peace as he slept, no worries or lines of frustration could be seen from his face and that itself made Colette's heart swell with an old familiar feeling. She swallowed hard and her face harden slightly before removing Daryl's arm from her body softlt. She didn't want him to wake up and see what position they had been in and make it awkward. She wanted to hold onto this just for herself.
Colette stood up and grabbed a pair of semi clean clothes for the day before changing in the bathroom. She quietly left the room as to not disturb Daryl before heading down towards the cafeteria.
Upon arriving, she saw everyone sat in the cafeteria tables. She grinned once noticing her favorite Korean sitting with his head down. Practically skipping over to him, she wrapped her arms around his frame with a grin."Good Morning, Glenn!"
Glenn groaned and attempted to push the brunette off his body but clearly failing.
"No. Go awayyyyy."The group laughed at the two as Colette patted Glenn's back before taking a seat next to him.
"Don't ever let me drink again."
Glenn groaned just as Shane walked in, with Daryl right behind him."Hey."
"Hey. Feel as bad as I do?"
Rick questioned his best friend who made a bee line straight to the coffee table.
Lori's frame tensed up, along with Colette's as she stared at Shane who attempted to keep his head down. She inwardly smirked when he turned around and could see a dark bruise on his jaw.T-Dog's eyes widen slightly at noticing the bruise.
"The hell happened to you. Your jaw?"Before Shane could utter a word, Colette spoke up.
"I punched him."
Silence took over the cafeteria at the end of the woman's sentence. Lori felt nauseous at the thought of her revealing to the group of last night's incident. Rick grew concerned over what had led for this woman to punch his best friend. Before he could comment she rolled her eyes at the groups silence and spoke up once more.
