1. What Happens In Korea, Stays In Korea

After a 14 hour flight to Korea, we finally arrived to Incheon International Airport. Me and Ahli collected our bags, transferred our money, and hailed a taxi to get to our hotel. In the taxi, we were still shaking from excitement. 

"Man I still can't believe we're here!" Ahli said with glee. 

I felt so happy to see them as ecstatic as I was. "Me too! I don't know about you but I'm too excited for any jet lag to get it me."

"Yeah me too, what do you think we should do after we check in to our hotel?" They asked me.

"Not gonna lie, I'm just dying to go to the TwoTuckGom store if that's alright with you?" I asked a bit shyly. 

"Of course dude, it's your birthday. I'm kinda worried for my wallet though." We both laughed.

"Same, but good thing we brought plenty of money." I said with a slight chuckle.

After checking into our hotel and leaving our bags, we headed to the TwoTuckGom store. The plush bears were more cuter and softer than we imagined. We took plenty of photos with pictures of the members of Monsta X on the walls, definitely spent more money than we should've, and just overall had a fun time seeing the merchandise. 

By the time we left the store, the sun was already setting, and headed back to our hotel to get ready for one of the goals of our trip. Out of our reasons to go to Korea, it was the most reckless, but the one we were most anticipating. 

We went clubbing and as per our saying we made while we were planning our trip, what happens in Korea, stays in Korea. Simply put, we out till 2 am drinking and dancing until Ahli started throwing up. I don't really like getting drunk but I still had some drinks, which allowed for Ahli to have more fun since I was a bit more sober. However, they hadn't drank as much as they did that night before, so their body was really not having it. We decided to head back to our hotel room for the night so to not piss off more clubs.

"Alright," I exhale, opening the door to our room with Ahli leaning on me, "Let's get you cleaned up and ready for bed."

"I'm so sorry man, I really hate you seeing me like this.." Ahli said through slurred words.

"Oh it's no problem at all, I'm just glad you had fun and I promised I'd take care of you if something like this happened." I reassured them.

Their voice started to shake, "You are the bestest friend I could ever ask for, I love youuu." They sounded at the edge of tears.

"I love you too, and I'm happy to make sure you're safe."

I helped them get into the shower and clean off any remaining makeup on their face. I grabbed some pajamas for them and soon they got into bed. 

"There's a 24 hour convenience store just around the corner I saw earlier today. I gonna grab you some aspirin and water for the morning hangover, do you want me to get anything else for you?" I asked to them softly as they lay under the covers.

They stirred as they tried coming up with an answer, "Any spicy candy you can find, please."

"Okay. You keep your phone near you if you need to call me for anything else, okay?" I placed their phone on the bedside table.

"Be safeeee." They said lazily, snuggling into the bed.

I chuckled back to them an 'I will'. I cleaned off any makeup on my face and changed into more comfortable clothes before stepping out. I brought the extra key with me and my phone in pocket.

I stepped out of the main lobby's doors to be met with the cool autumn wind. It was much more peaceful at night in Korea than in America. The cars were much quieter and there was barely any people walking around. I definitely felt safer walking alone at night, but I was still on edge of course.
