7. Sunrise

I woke up to a nudge on my shoulder. I wasn't a morning person at all, so I let out a groan in detest thinking it was Ahli. I hear a giggle from above me, and I instantly recognize it.

"Wrong person~" Minhyuk said in a teasing voice. I instantly shot up while grabbing the blanket to cover myself up, as I don't wear a bra to sleep like a normal person.

"Oh! Good morning..." I was cut off by a coming yawn and covered my mouth. Just behind him, I saw Ahli still sleeping all wrapped up, "Sorry, I forgot to set an alarm. What time is it?"

"I thought so. It's only 7, sorry I had to wake you up so early." I noticed he was just wearing comfortable clothes as I assumed were his sleep wear.

"Oh no, its ok. You most likely have work to do today so I makes sense." I gave him a reassuring smile.

He gave a hushed chuckle, "Yes, thank you for understanding. I'll let you get ready." He turned to quietly step out of the room. I nodded to him as he closed the door on the way out.

I got ready as quickly and as silently as I could as to not keep him waiting and to not wake up Ahli. I was suprised by Shownu who was in the converted indoor gym when I stepped out into the hallway to use the restroom. He didn't see me as he was already preoccupied and I could hear faint music from his ear buds, but I could help but to snag a look.

I finished getting ready, making sure to grab a good jacket for this cold morning. As I was about to go down the stairs, Shownu turned away from the dumbbell rack and was surprised to see me up from how his eyes shot open when making contact with mine and putting down the dumbbells he grabbed. We just said a 'good morning' and 'have a good day' to each other, but it was sweet seeing him stop what he was doing to say that.

I met with Minhyuk down stairs, surprised not to find anyone else was up. 

"Ready?" He asked me as I approached him by the door.

"Yup." I slipped on my combat boots, which I always jumped at the chance to wear during these colder months.

In the car, it was just us. It wasn't uncomfortable, in fact I was excited. It just didn't feel real that I was in this situation. I noticed I was fidgeting a lot with my hands, a have a lot of difficulty keeping in check. Fortunately, I relaxed at the sight of the morning sun any time it peeked through the towering buildings are we drove, the sunlight continuously flashing on my face.

"This is my first sunrise in Korea." I simply said. Minhyuk glanced at me for a second. I watched the oranges and yellows spill into the pale blue sky, bringing a warm golden glow.

"It's nice you get to share it with me." I heard the smile in his voice. I was taken aback by his words. My breath caught in my throat as I gave a gasp. He chuckled at my reaction.

"Yeah, uh... It is." I said shyly, not knowing how to properly respond to his comment.

"Here." Minhyuk reached into his pocket, pulling out his phone, "Take a picture for me, yeah?" He handed it to be after he quickly unlocked it and opened his camera. 

"O-oh okay." I gently grasped his phone, our fingers just barely brushing against each others. I turned it horizontally and caught a few pictures, making sure the sun wasn't blocked by any buildings.

"Got it." I held his phone in my hand to give back to him but he spoke first.

"Since you have it now, you can get my number."

My jaw dropped, "Are you serious?" I stuttered out.

"Yes of course, I need to make sure you don't get lost or anything. And while you're at it, add Shownu's and Kihyun's number too, just in case."
