POV: Nathan Westmore

Like Zen had promised there was a science test.

There was nothing like waking up and going to school to take a science test in the morning.  Even with the cheat questions, I had studied, that all seemed to be lost in space.

Considering I didn't take Earth and Space Science was not the best sign for me to have information on.

I was so nervous, it was like the time I went to get my license and almost misspelled my own name.

I read everything twice before even answering any of the questions.  It was mostly multiple choice but when I got to the end there it was, the very loved essay part of the test I loathed so much.  As if it wasn't already hard enough for me, I was annoyed to see the space where I would be expected to answer a question I didn't understand.

It never made any sense to me when tests or quizzes had an essay at the end.

I looked up for a moment and saw that Zen was sound asleep with his hood covering half of his head.  He looked like he had been done for a while, yet here I was, the person who was still in the single digits if you didn't count the ones I skipped to come back to.

Chemistry did not have to be this difficult.

At some point during the test, I marked a few random questions just to get done sooner.

Shockingly I was the last person to turn in my test.

An A+ for sure.

I just want to go to a janitor's closet and cry for a while.

When lunch finally came around I was happy to talk about movies with Mandy.  It helped get my mind off the test.  I probably just failed and messed up my chances to play a game this season.

Yay for me.

"You two are wrong," Misty chimed into the conversation.

Jax nodded in agreement.

"There is no way Bridesmaids isn't a funny movie," Misty continued.

Mandy rolled her eyes.  "I'm not saying it wasn't funny.  I am just saying, I liked Sky High better."

Jax coughed.  "What the hell?  Those aren't even in the same thoughts.  That's like saying you like pizza then eating an apple for no reason."

I wanted to laugh at how worked up they got when it came to movies but I was kinda the same way.  We had one thing we all agreed on when it came to movies.

None of us liked the same genre.

"What?!  It was a good movie and literally, no one remembers it.  It was totally a worthy competitor," Mandy continued.

Misty shook her head.  "I remember it.  It was with that cute superhero and his really hot mom."

I chuckled at the bluntness of Misty's words.

"Okay, they were both good movies.  Now can we just eat without all the yelling girls?" I asked Mandy and Jax.

They both rolled their eyes and we switched the conversation to Mandy's new shopping haul she had last night.

Jax nudged me.

"No practice after school.  Dick said something about getting his legs waxed."

"Really?" I questioned, horrified at having to think about the coach's legs.
