POV: Zen Teller
It was Nathan's first day back at school and if the rainy day didn't match up with how I felt about being back myself I didn't know what did.
The past few hours had been drowned out for me. I took my last exam for maths or I think that's what it was. I fell asleep twice during the thing, making for an interesting array of answers.
One of the good things was that when I was headed to my next class Nathan was talking with Jax by his locker.
Normally Mandy and her sickening perfume would be standing there and even if she knew about Nathan and me she always made sure to block him from me somehow.
Down the hall, it was like a match of glares at me. I wanted to laugh at how ridiculous people were being with staring in general. It would have been less dramatic if I were in a soap opera and I just made my appearance after someone declared me dead.
Without much thought, I walked over to Nathan and Jax as I did Jax gave me a small smile before saying a bye to Nathan.
Reluctantly I stop and poked Nathan's shoulder. He let out a breath and shut his locker before turning and looking at me.
He sighed and before I knew it he tugged me down by the shirt and kissed me. It was quick and simple but I still felt like Mock when he was reading one of his stories. Giddy, surprised, and butterflies set loose in my stomach.
"What was—" I was of course cut off, but I was too happy to give a shit.
"Shut up. Wait here till practice is over and take me back to your house, please."
I nodded quickly and as if trying to hide a smirk he rolled his eyes and walked to class.
I stood there for a while until I realized I had to go to class too and made a dash to English.
Just in time to nearly run into the door. I took my seat and tried to focus on the test. To my actual luck, I read most of the book the test was on so I would at least pass.
Probably...

When I was done with all the tests and exams it was lunch and I wanted nothing more than to stab myself in the throat with a plastic fork.
I felt like death had whacked me in the head. Then again staying up till four and only getting an hour of sleep probably wasn't the best.
Mock grabbed my food for me as he pushed me over to a table.
"You look like fucking shit. Remind me I have eye masks you'll wear when we get home."
I was too tired to refuse. Maybe it wouldn't be like the last time he forced spa stuff on me. Apparently, masks that look like panda faces make my face turn redder than Hell itself.
I let my headrest on the table before I felt someone sit right beside me. To the point, our legs were touching. The comforting smell of lavender welcoming my senses as well.
Nathan smiled at me when I looked over at him. "Mind if I sit here?"
I rested my head on his shoulder wishing we were at his house or mine so that I could just go to sleep comfortably.
"Zennon get the fuck up, I didn't get you food to sleep," Mock reminded me. Not before he took a picture of me cuddling up to Nathan.
"Was that necessary?" I asked.
He nodded. "Yes, very."
"Can you send it to me?" Nathan chuckled.
"Of course!" Mock cheered.
