POV: Nathan Westmore

The day started the same as many, I got a ride to school from Misty and Mandy.  Jax was apparently busy and had to leave early for a doctor's appointment.

I didn't normally mind being with Misty and Mandy but the two were terrible to be around when they didn't get along.  Usually, that ended up being most of the time.  It wasn't as bad as Jax and Mandy not getting along but it was close.

However, when I thought about it they were worse when they agreed on something.  Whenever they both worked together for the common goal, there was no way Misty and Mandy wouldn't get what they wanted.

"How many times do I have to tell you.  You're not interrogating my boyfriend," I grumbled.

The day had only just started and it seemed like it should have ended hours ago.  Is this what normal people felt in the mornings?

"Like we said it would just be a date night or even a movie night in.  There would be no pressure, no interrogation."

The innocent smile plastered to Mandy's face combined with the eerie silence from the platinum blonde to her left was answer enough.

"You're going to have to do better than that, Mads."

Mandy shrugged completely unbothered.  She knew all too well she'd get her way at some point.  "Fine.  We'll make a sales pitch during free period."  She brushed her hair back eloquently as she grinned.  "Anyway, how was that other night?  You never told us how the date went, then again I didn't really give you the chance, sorry."

Misty looked between us as if she was only just paying attention to what was going on.  It made me wonder what my friends did before my love life became the headlines of the non-existent newspaper.

"Wait did I miss something?!" Misty gasped.

I rolled my eyes at the both of them.  Knowing it would drive them both mad I decided to play dumb.  "I don't think I know what you're referring to," I shrugged.

They pushed me away from my locker, standing in front of the door blocking me for the time being.  They both shared matching 'we know you know we're not leaving anytime soon' kind of look.

"Okay, okay, I'll tell you at lunch.  Now, please move so I can get my book and be on with my day," I muttered.

They seemed content with the answer I gave and moved out of my way.

"Okay, but you better not be playin' us," Misty added in.

As I was able to look into my locker and grab the book I needed I noticed a bright pink piece of paper resting on top of the stack of books left inside.  I picked it up and as I read my face scrunched up in confusion.

"See bet that's a letter from Lover Boy," Mandy giggled at her own joke.

"With colorful pink paper, I'm sure it's him," I muttered sarcastically.

"How would we know you tell us nothing," Misty groaned, disappointed.

I looked back down at the note in my hand.  It was almost as if someone stamped on the letters onto the sticky note instead of writing it.  It only added to how creepy the whole thing was.

I couldn't help but read over it again, but it didn't get me any farther than it did the first time.

"Your first warning is to be careful with your new 'friend'.  He'll only hurt you.  You have a week to come to your senses,  don't test me."
