POV: Zen Teller
Warm and soft blankets were wrapped around me as I woke up in the bright as Hell yellow room. I was in Nathan's bed, unfortunately alone.
I sat up looking around the room as the sunlight shined through the open curtains making it difficult to see anything other than a rush of sunlight—and unlike Nathan, I wasn't a fan of daylight.
Then I noticed Nathan wasn't in the room. For a moment I irrationally felt a rush of worry.
What if he left because of me. I knew I shouldn't have let things go that far. Even if he was the one to instigate it what if now that he wasn't thinking with his dick that he regrets it.
What if I ruined everything?
I stopped myself.
Things were fine or he would have told me.
That didn't help settle the butterflies in my stomach from going crazy when I saw the door creak open. I watched carefully as Nathan walked over to me. He was fully dressed for the day and from the looks of it he had been up a lot longer than I was.
What time was it?
"Good morning or afternoon should I say," he giggled as he sat on the edge of the bed.
Not being able to control myself I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him down onto the bed and wrapped my leg over him for good measure.
"Are you always this needy in the mornings?" he chuckled, clearly amused.
I rested my head in the crook of his neck and nodded. "Yep, and you have to deal with it."
"I guess I'll manage," he kissed my arm and leaned into me.
The moment was nice and I thought I could have gone back to sleep for a second but to Nathan's horror, his door opened as Addison peeked her head in.
I didn't understand why he didn't just lock the door at this point. Even if we weren't doing anything more than laying in bed together, it wasn't always going to be his sister and explaining why I was lying half on top of him in only my boxer-briefs would be a little difficult.
Addison chuckled a bit clearly loving seeing this side of her brother. "Mom said to be ready soon, fifteen minutes." She grins at us before shutting the door again.
Nathan relaxes a little before pushing me off him and turning to face me.
"You still want me to go to your game? I know everything with the 'Anonymous Helper' shit is only going to—"
He shut me up the best way only he could as he kissed me. "Yes, I meant what I said. I want you there even if you're staring at my butt the whole time."
"At least you're catching on," I murmured.
I got up soon after and changed into the clothes I wore yesterday minus the shirt Nathan stole from me—not that I was complaining about it. It looked better on him anyway. I threw on my hoodie as Nathan made his bed. I offered to help but he pushed me away. "I like how I do it, so thanks, but no."
"Also in the bathroom under the left sink there are new toothbrushes, go brush your teeth before we leave."
"Wow, so subtle at telling me my breath smells."
He rolled his eyes. "No, you consume ungodly amounts of sugar and I want you to take care of your teeth—but if you want me to say it's because of your breath. Sure."
I did as he said and I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and fixed my bed head a bit. It wasn't great but not too bad.
"Okay minty fresh," I muttered to Nathan when I walked back out to his room.
