"Daddy" Ayla squealed as the front door was pulled open to reveal Max. She leant towards him and he weakly smiled as he took her.
"Hi Peanut" he settled her on his hip.
"So, you'll bring her back tomorrow night, yeah?" he nodded but never once made eye contact. "You okay, Max?" he nodded, his eyes dancing briefly down to my hand.
"Why did you say yes?"
"Because I love him" he just rolled his eyes. "I'll see you tomorrow, Peanut, okay?" she nodded, smiling as I leant to press a kiss to her cheek. "Have fun with daddy, yeah?"
"Bye Mommy."
"Bye Baby. I love you."
"Love you" I sent her a wave as I turned and headed down to the car. Max had closed the front door before I'd even climbed into the driver's seat. I rolled my eyes and slowly backed out of the driveway and headed towards town. I've been engaged for a week and already we've started to plan. I want to get married next summer, preferably in June or July. I have a dress fitting booked in January and then on the same day we have a cake testing session. Everything else is slowly starting to fall into place, all we need to do is find somewhere to have it and pick out a date. I pulled into the parking lot of the recording studio and brought my car to a stop. I pulled my phone from my pocket and smiled at a message that pinged through.
Mom: Hi Mama! Miss you 😘

Me: Miss you too Angel ❤️❤️
I locked my phone and dropped it into my purse which I draped over my shoulder as I climbed from the car. I headed into the studio, smiling at the lady on reception and began towards Studio 2 where I was greeted by Oak.
"Demi" I smiled as Oak locked me into a hug as I stepped into the studio. I'm slowly starting to get back into the studio. I released 'Survivor' over a year ago and haven't really been back into the studio since, my only excuse is that I have two children. I'm starting to miss making music, I'm starting to miss touring and getting to spend time with my fans. I want to at least release one album before I get married and start to settle down.
"Hi Oak."
"Let's see the ring" I playfully rolled my eyes and giggled as I held out my hand. "It's gorgeous, Dem. Congratulations."
"Thank you" I removed my jacket and draped it over the back of the couch.
"What song are we doing today then?"
-
"Hello Batman. Hello Ella" I chuckled as I stepped through the front door and was instantly attacked by Batman and Ella. I leant down to fuss them both before slipping off my shoes and heading into the living room where Kobe was sat, scrolling through his phone. "Hi Baby" I dropped down onto the couch beside him, my fingers running into his hair as I leant to press a kiss to his cheek.
"Hi Beautiful. How was the studio?"
"Not bad. What are you looking at?" he turned his phone to me.
"A location" my eyebrows furrowed slightly.
"For the wedding?" he nodded and I took the phone from him and relaxed back against the couch. Kobe settled his hand on my thigh as I threw my legs over his lap and began to scroll through the photos. "It's gorgeous."
"Right?" I nodded. "You fancy going to view it?" my eyes looked up to meet his.
"Now?"
"I rang to see if we could go and view it, they said that we have until 4" my eyes danced to the clock on the wall.
"Why are we sat here then?" he lightly chuckled as I dove off the couch. "Kobe" he continued to chuckle as he stepped into the hall.
"Baby, we have until 4."
"How far away is it?"
"Like only half an hour" I nodded, glancing down as I slipped my foot into my shoe. "Anyway, I didn't get a kiss" my mouth tugged into a smile as he lightly cupped my chin and turned me to face him. I giggled as he pressed his lips to mine, the kiss soft and sweet.
"I missed you" he nodded as he pulled away.
"I missed you too, Beautiful."
"Come on, I want to see this location" he chuckled as I practically dragged him from the house.
-
"Wow" I shut the car door behind me, smiling as I glanced out at the view. "It's beautiful" Kobe came around the car and slid his hand into mine.
"Come on, let's go and have a look" he guided me towards the main building and we met up with a lovely lady named Sarah who offered to show us around. The more that we wondered around, the more I knew that I wanted to get married here.
"This is it. This is where I want to marry you" I turned to Kobe who wrapped his arm around my waist and held me against him.
"Yeah, I think it is" he pressed a gentle peck to my lips.
"It's open but private. It's beautiful and I can't wait to marry you here."
"Let's go and see when they have availability then" the smile on my face just widened. We're one step closer to getting married. We met back up with Sarah who took us into a private room. She took a seat at the desk, Kobe and I taking a seat opposite her.
"When were you guys thinking for the wedding?"
"We were thinking next summer" Kobe ran his hand along my thigh.
"Well, obviously it's meant to be because we've just had a cancelation for July. We're booked solid until late next year" I glanced to Kobe, my mouth twitching at the corners.
"Must be" I giggled as he leant to press a kiss to my lips.
"It's July 20th, is that an okay date?"
"That date sounds perfect."
"That's all booked in for you" there was no way the smile on my face was getting wiped away. "We'll just need a deposit from you if that's okay?" I nodded, sharing a wide smile with Kobe.
