"Do you think we should tell our families today?" I bit down on my lower lip as I leant back against the kitchen counter, my arms crossed over my chest as I watched Kobe chop up veggies. My family and Kobe's mom and stepfather are coming over today to celebrate Christmas. We did Christmas last year at my parents so we offered to host this year. The only person not coming from my family is Dallas as she's spending Christmas with Tom's family. Kobe offered to cook as let's be fair, I'm shit.

"I mean, we could. We've told the girls and I don't know whether they'll be able to keep it quiet."

"When are you due?"

"She put my due date at August 4th. I have an appointment at the end of January for my 12-week check-up" Kobe nodded as he glanced back at me with a smile.

"So, you conceived the week you can home for Halloween?"

"Explains why you couldn't get enough of me" he lightly chuckled as he rinsed off the knife and placed it in the dishwasher. He turned back to me and ran his hands along my hips, pulling me into him. He leant down to brush his lips with mine and I smiled into the kiss. We pulled away at the sound of the doorbell.

"I'll get the door; you tell the girls that we need them to be quiet about the baby for a little bit" I nodded and we shared another kiss before he turned and headed for the front door. I ran my hand along my stomach and beamed before I headed into the playroom that's just off from the living room.

"Mommy, the door."

"I know, Peanut. Bebe's gone to get it" I lowered myself to the floor and stroked my fingers through Ayla's hair. "Bebe and I need you both to be really quiet about the baby for a little bit, okay? It's going to be our little secret for a bit."

"Why?" I wrapped my arm around Kyra as she cuddled herself into my side. I ran my fingers into her hair.

"Because we want to surprise them."

"Okay."

"You pinkie promise?" Ayla nodded with a giggle and hooked her pinkie with mine. "What about you, Little Miss?" I poked Kyra in the tummy causing her to squeal. "We'll tell them when we all have dinner, okay?" Kyra was breathing heavily on the floor, occasionally she released a loud giggle. "Now, shall we go and see who was at the door?" Ayla and Kyra darted from the room and I loudly laughed. I pushed myself up from the floor, momentarily staring down at my belly. "Welcome to this crazy family, Baby" I eventually pulled from my stare and headed into the entrance hall where Ayla and Kyra were being doted on by my parents. I smiled over at Maddie and pulled her into a hug. We welcomed my family into the house, Ayla and Kyra suddenly being showered in presents. Ann and Pete arrived no less than 30 minutes later and Ayla and Kyra where just showered in more presents.

"Ayla and Kyra sure have been spoilt" Kobe lightly chuckled as he leant to press a kiss to my temple.

"They're very loved children."

"They sure are" I remained leant back against the counter, my hand lightly caressing my stomach. I lightly smiled at the thought of welcoming another baby into the family.

"You sure you want to tell our families so soon?" I met Kobe's gaze and the smile on my face just widened as I started to imagine our baby, and what features they will get from Kobe. I imagined them with his gorgeous brown eyes and his curly locks of hair. "Babe?" I jumped from my stare at his face and found myself lightly blushing as he chuckled. "You still find me attractive, huh?" I rolled my eyes and lightly shoved him.

"Actually, I was imagining what our baby would look like" I pushed myself away from the counter and began to set everything out onto the island counter so that everyone could choose their food. The dining room is beautifully set up and I thought it would be cute to have a buffet style dinner. I smiled as I felt hands on my waist and I lightly giggled as Kobe began to pepper kisses along my neck.

"I hope they have your eyes, and your chin" I rolled my eyes but he ran his hands along my belly causing my smile to widen.

"I hope they don't."

"Ayla and Kyra have your chin and I think it's adorable."

"Kyra's is more noticeable than Ayla's though, don't you think?"

"It's still the most adorable" I giggled as he pressed a kiss to my cheek before he released his grip from around me.

"Is the food ready?" I turned to him as he nodded. I called everyone into the kitchen so they could start loading their plates. I helped Ayla with her plate while Maddie assisted Kyra. We all settled down at the table to eat. We had the radio playing quietly through the room but there was plenty of chatter. I'm so glad our families get along.

"I'm so full. Oh my god, Kobe you are doing every Thanksgiving and Christmas from now on" we all lightly chuckled as Ann dropped back against the seat.

"Now, can we please talk about the random bauble on the table?" everyone glanced to Maddie before our attention was pulled to Ayla who giggled, her hand covering her mouth.

"You want to tell them what's in the bauble, Peanut?" her eyes met mine for a moment before she spoke.

"Mommy have baby in tummy" I lightly giggled as she poked her own tummy just in case people weren't too sure.

"You-You're pregnant?" I bit my lip and nodded. The room erupted in cheers and I was suddenly being attacked into a hug by my crying mother.

"Oh, Baby. I'm so happy for you" Ann was also crying as she hugged Kobe. Maddie was fussing over Ayla and Kyra, getting them all excited for their little brother or sister which is something I know Ayla needs a lot of this time around. She needs to understand the big role she plays with all of this.
