Demi
"Tour is planned for October, and it will run until mid-December due to Thanksgiving" I nodded.
"That's fine. When in October?"
"The 8th, we're looking at kicking it off in New York."
"That's awesome" he nodded and jotted a couple things down. "I also know what I want my second single to be."
"Yeah?"
"I want it to be Feminine" Scooter glanced up from his iPad.
"That's a good one to go with" I lightly giggled at Scooter's smug smile. "And I knew you would cave" I rolled my eyes.
"Kobe thought it should be as well so..." I lightly blushed.
"Ah. So, you only agreed because of your fiancé?" I rolled my eyes. "When do you want to release it?"
"End of this month, or beginning of next?"
"Okay, we'll get it all sorted and we'll let you know. By the way, Yael and I will be at your wedding."
"Thank you for the RSVP" he chuckled.
"You're welcome, Dems."
"Anyway, it's Kobe's birthday and I want to surprise him so is there any chance I can get off early?" he nodded.
"Yeah, you can get out of here" I gave him a wide smile. I grabbed my purse off the floor and rummaged around until I found my phone. I tapped out a quick message to Max. "I'll see you next week. I'll sort out the date for the second single" I nodded, giving him a one armed hug as I began out of the office. I met up with Max at the car. He held the door open for me and I smiled as I slid into the backseat.
Me: How's the gym baby??😍🤤
I glanced out the window and watched the view.
Kobe💍❤️: It's good beautiful😉
Me: What time you thinking of getting home?
Kobe💍❤️: Why? Am I getting a surprise?🤤🤤
Me: Three months baby 🙄😜
Kobe💍❤️: I'll be back around 4 😂😂
I giggled, locking my phone and dropping it into my lap. I glanced out the window to see that we had pulled into my driveway.
"When do you next need me, Dem?" I glanced up at Max as I shoved my phone back into my purse.
"I have a radio interview next week, so I'll need you then if you're available?" he nodded and sent a smile.
"Just let me know."
"Okay, thanks, Max" I slid out of the car and sent him a wave as I began up to the front door. I smiled down at Batman and Ella as they began to dance around my feet. "Hi Babies. I missed you" I ran my fingers through Batman's fur as he lapped up the attention. I pushed myself to stand and headed into the kitchen. I grabbed out what I would need for dinner. I shoved the chicken into the oven and set the timer. I glanced at the clock. 14:54. I should probably start getting dressed. I headed towards the stairs and into the master bedroom. I smiled at the dress I planned to wear that hung on the rack in the closet. I pulled it off the hanger and headed back into the bedroom. Batman and Ella were now curled up together on the bed. I unfastened my jeans and shimmied out of them, leaving me in only my white lace thong. I can't dress too sexy as I can't tease Kobe too much. We only have 3 months left. We can do this. I pulled my shirt over my head and then pulled on the dress. I smiled as I glanced at myself in the mirror. I actually feel sexy. I bit down on my lower lip as I ran my hands down my stomach. "No sex" I mumbled, shaking my head of those thoughts. I headed into the en-suite and grabbed a wipe, removing the small amount of makeup I applied today. I know how Kobe likes my bare face and it is his birthday. Even when it's not his birthday though, I walk around with none or very minimal makeup on. I don't feel like I need to wear it around Kobe. He never fails to make me feel beautiful. I caught sight of the clock on the way from the en-suite. 15:23. I headed downstairs, jumping as a knock sounded on the door. My heart dropped into my stomach at who stood on the porch. "Max?"
"What the fuck is this?" he thrust the envelope towards me.
"I..."
"You want to take my kids away from me?"
"You don't see them as it is, Max" I just rolled my eyes.
"Because you don't let me, Demi."
"I give you every opportunity to see them. You didn't come to Kyra's birthday party, that isn't my fault."
"I'm not going where he is."
"Is this really still about Kobe?" I found it comical. "We've been together for two years, Max. You really need to get over yourself because he isn't going anywhere. I'm not dumping him because you're uncomfortable and I'm not even apologising for that" he rolled his eyes and stepped into the house, his eyes staring me down. "What the fuck are you doing? Get out" he just pushed his way in and slammed the door behind him.
"You look nice. Special occasion?"
"It's none of your business. Get out" he just kept walking forward until I was backed up against the wall. I had nowhere to go.
"I remember when you used to dress up for me" I tensed as his hand ran along my waist, bile rising up my throat.
"Get off me" I slapped his hand away and he just chuckled. This chuckle wasn't filled with humour though, it was evil. "Max..." I whimpered as his hands gripped my hips and he held me against the wall. I tried to wiggle from his grip but my attempts were unsuccessful. When did he grow so strong? "Max. Get off" I pushed at his shoulders, I scratched at his neck and face but he never let go, if anything his grip just tightened. "Max, you're hurting me" the tears welled up in my eyes. I thought my tears would make him stop but they just seemed to encourage him further and there's nothing I can do to stop him.
