Demi

I dumped my bag onto the floor as I stepped into the hotel room, slightly confused as I was greeted with silence. I slipped off my shoes and coat before beginning further into the room, my fingers combing through my hair that fell down my back in waves. The first thing that my eyes landed on was a bouquet of red roses. I bit down on my lower lip as my mouth twitched into a smile. I headed towards the roses, taking the card that sat perfectly between them.

Demi,

Happy Valentine's Day. I love you infinitely.

Love, Kobe.

Ps. Turn around!!

My eyebrows furrowed.

"How long does it take to read a note?" I beamed, lightly giggling as I turned myself around. "Hi Beautiful" I squealed as I threw myself at him. My arms locked tightly around his neck. He lifted me up so my legs wrapped around his waist and I nuzzled my face into his neck.

"I missed you" a lump formed in my throat, tears suddenly burning at the back of my eyes.

"I missed you too, Baby, but I told you it would fly by" I removed my head from his neck. I began to run my fingers through his curls, his hands perfectly holding me up by my ass. "You didn't think I would miss seeing my beautiful girl on Valentine's Day, did you?" my cheeks burnt.

"Where are the girls?" he lightly chuckled.

"It took you long enough to notice" I rolled my eyes as he just laughed louder. "Tiffini knew that I planned to surprise you, she's got the girls."

"I am very appreciative of Tiffini right now."

"And why is that Baby?" my smile twitched into a smirk as I pressed my forehead to his.

"Because I really missed my fiancé" I pressed my lips to his but Kobe pulled away before I had the chance to deepen it. "What are you doing?" he lightly chuckled.

"You forget about holding off from sex until the wedding?" I grumbled.

"Can we not just start that tomorrow?"

"No, Baby" I huffed, wiggling in his grip until he lowered me to the floor. "We have plans anyway" his hands locked behind my back to keep me pressed into him.

"What kind of plans?" I ran my hand along his stubble.

"Secret plans" I rolled my eyes as he lightly chuckled. I giggled though as he leant to press a kiss to the tip of my nose.

"How did you get out of work?"

"Easy. I just told them that I needed to see my girl in Toronto."

"I love when you call me 'my girl'" he smiled as he gave my ass a gentle squeeze.

"You are my girl" my heart melted as I brought his lips down to meet mine. "There's a dress hanging in the bedroom. There's also a pair of boots. I want you to put it on, and I want you all natural" I opened my mouth to protest but was silenced by Kobe pressing his finger onto my lips. "Natural, Baby" Kobe loves when I don't wear makeup. He doesn't understand why I even wear it. "You are so much more beautiful without all the makeup."

"You do realise I will be wearing makeup on our wedding day" he dramatically sighed.

"And that is something I will just have to deal with" I giggled. "Go and get dressed. I'll meet you out here" he released me from his grip and I watched, biting down into my lower lip as Kobe lowered himself down onto the couch. He pulled his phone from his pocket, glancing to me. "You okay, Baby?" I jumped from my stare, my cheeks burning a light red. "Go and get dressed, you have 20 minutes before we need to leave" he lightly chuckled as I scurried into the bedroom, my cheeks just burning hotter. My eyes landed on the dress that hung on the doorframe of the closet and I smiled as I walked up to it, my fingers running along the fabric. I pulled it off the hanger and lowered it onto the bed. I stripped out of my clothes and shimmied into the dress. It's a gorgeous velvet blue dress that wraps perfectly around my body, it has long sleeves which are helpful in this cold February breeze. I glanced at the thigh high boots and pulled them on.

"You look sexy as fuck" I lightly giggled as I stood, smoothing down the front of the dress.

"Thanks" he chuckled as I gave him a twirl.

"I am the luckiest guy in the world" my cheeks burnt.

"And I am the luckiest girl in the world" he reached out for my hand and once he took it, he pulled me into him. He pressed a gentle peck to my lips and I melted into him.

"Grab your coat, we can't miss our reservation."

We had dinner in a gorgeous little restaurant, don't know how he managed to get a reservation, especially on Valentine's Day. We were also sat in a booth that provided us with privacy and throughout the entire dinner, Kobe's hand was settled on my thigh. I regretted suggesting holding off from sex until our wedding night. I mean, who does that?

"It's so beautiful here and it's so peaceful" I kept myself pressed into Kobe's side, my arm linked with his as we walked through the park, the snow crunching beneath our feet. "It's been amazing to just spend the night with you without paparazzi lurking around every corner" Kobe stopped and I turned to face him with furrowed eyebrows. His gloved hands cupped my cheeks and he smiled down at me.

"I love you so much" my lips twitched into a smile.

"I love you too" he brushed his lips against mine. He detached his lips from mine quicker than he attached them. My mouth dropping in shock as he grabbed a handful of snow and threw it at me. "What are you, 6?" he chuckled and my face hardened into a glare. "Oh, it's on" I grabbed my own handful of snow and threw it at him, unfortunately he managed to dodge it. I squealed and began to run, Kobe chuckling as he followed behind me. He was so much faster than me and his arm locked around my waist. I shivered as he smudged a ball of snow on top of my head. "Kobe, that's cold" I squealed, beginning to shiver. He turned me to face him, cupping my face in his hands.

"Don't start a snowball fight with me, Miss Lovato, because you will lose" he playfully smirked down at me and I giggled as he pecked my lips.

"You started it" he laughed louder. "Can we go now because I'm cold?" my teeth began to chatter.

"Yeah, let's get you warmed up" once we got back to the hotel, Kobe ran us a bath. It was difficult refraining from sex but we managed. These next 5 months are going to be a challenge.
